Room was very clean, not a big room, but enough space for 2. Balcony was enclosed without a view and at the back of the property. Great location with easy walks to bar's and cafe's and just a short walk to the upgrade Art Gallery.

Nice room. Some wear and tear like on the lounge and a little bit of dirt in places. Broken dishwasher. No sharp knives if you arrive when staff aren’t there. Room had shower/spa where you could not turn on water without being in shower - expect rush of cold water while standing on a step. Rangehood blocked on purpose. Sort of like a room with a display kitchen you aren’t really supposed to use. Staff did not reply to some queries at all.

The connecting room to our studio apartment had no sound proof at all so unfortunately had to listen to a group of people partying in the middle of the night like I was in the same room as them. Great staff and fantastic comfortable rooms. The hotel is in central part of Newcastle and everywhere you can just walk. For your comfort the hottel offers free parking space in the garage, as well as possibikity to us guest laundry for free. Just perfect for shorter or longer stay. Please keep in mind the receprion is not 24hrs open so you need to get the dor key code in advance, if you are planning to check in latrme

Staff were very friendly and helpful on check in. The room itself was very clean and the bed/pillows were so comfortable. The only negative for me was the lack of curtains. There is a window in the verandah area that could not be covered so there was light coming in all night.

Bed cover was soiled and it was a sunday, so no cleaning staff and we had to remake our bed ourselves. There were also dirty smear marks on the wall at the bed head that we cleaned off. Otherwise a comfortable large and well- equipped space was provided. (Towel hangers in the bathroom would be a nice addition.)
