"Very central to everything eg football, shops etc"
We had the most wonderful 3 night stay. Accommodation was very modern and spotless. We did not have a view but this did not detract from the room. Staff were absolutely wonderful and went out of their way to assist us with a few minor troubles we had (nothing to do with the hotel). It was great having the restaurant downstairs where the food was excellent and very reasonably priced. Cannot recommend this hotel highly enough. Have stayed in many 4-4.5 star hotels in Melbourne and this absolutely the best we have stayed in.

"Southwharf escape"
A great place to stay to access convention centre and DFO, not too far to walk to Crown. Sll good except was overcharged in the restaurant for drinks, was charged for sparkling water instead of still water, was promised that it would be rectified on our invoice it wasn't. It was only a couple of dollars, but leaves a nasty taste in your mouth.

"Slow elevators"
The hotel was great other then the lifts. They where so slow in if you didn't push your way through the people coming out, the doors would close and you would be waiting for another 10 minutes for one!
