Stayed on the weekend for a getaway. Very comfortable bed and the room was clean and tidy upon arrival. As other reviews have mentioned - there is a bit of noise that comes through into the room from the corridors and the taps next door, but other than that I had a fantastic stay!

"My new favourite end of town"
Had an overnight stay with my 2 teenage children. I'm not easy to please when it comes to hotel rooms, particularly condition of room & cleanliness - but this was perfect! Would gladly stay here again if I could get the same rate. Very convenient location, 2 minutes to convention centre & loads of really cool eateries & bars. 2 minute walk to DFO & homemaker centre. 10 minute walk to Crown food complex/cinema etc & easy walk from Southern Cross station.

Our stay at the Metropol was great. We had a fabulous time with our kids, and enjoyed the swimming pool on the top floor, which towels were provided (added bonus). It is in a great location and we enjoyed the facilities in and around Crown.
