We found that our two Queen room was quite spacious (even for four people) and in great condition. There was ample space to hang our clothes, place our suitcases, and a large desk. Check in was fast and the front desk clerk was helpful and polite. She gave us a heads up that there is even a display on the history of the hotel in the basement along with some Chinese artifacts. So cool! Our only difficulty was with the self serve parking. Like any city, there is an additional fee for parking so be prepared. It is located in a building across the street from the hotel so if you have mobility issues and are a passenger, make sure to get out in the loading zone in front of the building.

Heritage building so that means historical and older windows. We had superior king room. Corner unit. Very spacious. Except the bathroom shower. Very very small. Great location but a lot of homeless people around which you can’t control. Staff were very accommodating. Bed was not luxurious at all. I would stay again though as the price was great.

Victoria BC - Chinatown area hotel
Fun area to stroll around. Good restaurant options. Neighborhood is a bit noisy, but typical for a city with strong tourist trade. Nice hotel, rooms are spacious with nice amenities. A+ on the Lavazza in-room coffee.

Amazing hospitality and patience
I chose Hotel Rialto based on a decent price and proximity to my home after my pipes froze and I had no indoor plumbing for a week. It wasn’t much of a vacation and I had to still try to work and live my regular life, and I can’t thank the staff enough for their kindness. There’s no pool or breakfast and the parking garage is a block away and the gym is even further (but take the pass and go do that free yoga class—it’s worth it) and you might not get a bathtub but they’ll give your dogs treats and the rooms are clean and comfortable and the restaurant is AMAZING (happy hour is at 9pm, get the pork belly bao, you won’t regret it), and they will try to accommodate your needs however possible. Thank you thank you thank you for making a nightmare week a little less nightmarish, accommodating me with strong my luggage one day and a late check-out the next day. The Lavazza machine, the shortbread, and the branded bathrobes are delicious extra cherries on top and will make your sneaky link even more excited than usual to come over.
