The staff are nice enough. But insanely scummy practices at the hotel. Teresa (and I’m sure other staff) are incredibly pushy for 5 star Google reviews. They will offer to waive the early check-in fee and offer free upgrades but only if you give them a 5 star review immediately (when you’re checking in, before you can even properly review anything) so most of the fees seem to be just there to try to force you into a review to avoid them. Not only that, but the wifi terms and conditions harvest your data and require that you agree to get newsletters from the hotel sent to your email. There is no way to connect to the wifi without agreeing to it.

Rogers business tv is adequate but many channels like Global BC and CNN not working at all along with a dozen others. i mentioned this last winter and still hasn't been resolved. I have mixed feelings about this stay. The location of the hotel was excellent. Very walkable to Granville. The front desk staff member who checked us in was professional and polite. Our room was upgraded and I certainly appreciated the ocean view! Unfortunately, housekeeping services were subpar. The garbage and recycling bins were not changed (I called front desk and this was rectified right away). There was a candy wrapper left behind the window curtains and a bobby pin on the floor in the bedroom. The room looked clean otherwise but I do wonder what else wasn’t done by the housekeeping staff. I would look at other accommodations the next time I visit Vancouver personally.
