Parking is a real problem. The self-park lot is tiny and hard to get in and out of. It was full and valet was also not available because apparently the lot they use for valet was also full. If parking isn't available, it just shouldn't be advertised. I ended up doing street parking which was MUCH cheaper. The room we had (1st floor) was also very noisy at night with the nightclub right next door. Having The Morrissey pub next door was great, though.

The hotel is right next to two dance clubs. Staying there on a Friday of Saturday night is a bad idea, unless you're planning to stay up and party with the rest of them.

Didn’t realize there wasn’t a fridge. Water temp in shower was never consistent. Ideal temp would suddenly shift to extreme hot. Outlet for desk area wasn’t ideal for work, cords hanging over coffee maker. Desk chair is unsafe. You can’t lean back even a little. I fell backward twice. Placement of Caution sign in between doors leading to elevator was placed center even when floor was not wet all stay.

The "onsite gym" is not on site. The wifi kept going out, thank goodness this wasnt a work trip. The card reader on the door stopped working and i was locked out of my room. I was disappointed to see there was no mini fridge in the room. There was shampoo and lotion provided but no conditioner. Parking was confusing upon arrival and kind of a pain to get out of. Sooooo many homeless people hanging out right there. Room was clean. Staff was friendly and helpful. Check in was easy.

Hotel could use some inexpensive modern updates, but it’s otherwise perfectly comfortable and good value for downtown Vancouver. The surrounding area is a mix of things, but it’s a short walk or Yaletown and close access to False Creek to take the harbour bus to Granville Island.
