Best Location Best Views Best Service Near Beach

Amazing location, can’t beat it, across from English bay beach where all the fun and good vibes are. We had ocean view room with full kitchen and bathroom with tub. The space was big as it’s a full-size studio apartment. Everything was clean and it had A/C unit in room. The beds were comfortable and we slept great. Stayed 2 nights and the front desk staff are all super nice and helpful. We definitely stay again!

Bed good the rest not so great. Parking lot had many stairs to get to lobby. Bathroom terrible. No decafe coffee. Price god but I don’t think I would stay again. Busy street with lots of noise.

The location is amazing, The staff is friendly, the room is large, and the a/c worked. Other than that, I don’t have much to say about the space. It’s surprising that they don’t remodel the hotel because it needs a complete overhaul.

Property is really a small 5 story apartment building in a very lively & busy area 1 block from English Bay. We had a 1 bedroom apartment with a large living room which also contained another double & single bed. The furniture was minimalist, really worn & in one case dangerous. There was only 1 outlet in the kitchen. There was no maid service unless specifically requested. 1 small bathroom w/ small mirror. Still it was clean, spacious & adequate for our needs. Even had a view of the bay. Everything was nearby. Staff was friendly & helpful.

The property was a bit old and worn but it was very.clean, and the staff friendly. The.location was fabulous, right across from the beach! There were a great many varied places to eat in our block and a 7/11 for any snacks we wanted.The price was very affordable for Vancouver!

The hotel was very convenient for walking to our whale watching tour. The beds and pillows were very comfortable. The area is very walkable with Sunset Beach very close by and lots and lots of restaurants and stores. The staff was nice. We were able to pay $25 a night to park, so that was convenient. The rooms themselves are sort of terrible. There were upholstered chairs that were broken, I think a brick was holding up the bed on one side, everything seemed very old and dated. For just one night and for spending as little time as possible in the hotel with a very early check out, it was fine and much less expensive than other options nearby. Just keep your expectations very low.

The hotel is rundown and not very clean. The reception staff were not at all flexible at letting us in even a little early to our room despite having had a very long flight and then walking around the city for 6 hours to pass time. The lobby stank of marijuana and the daytime front office staff were not very responsive or helpful. After a very long flight and walking around for 6 hours to pass time I still had to persuade them to let us in the room only half an hour early. The lift is tiny and the air freshener in it so strong that we took the stairs each time. Bedding clean and quite comfy, but the room also smelt quite odd and musty. The location is great but we wouldn’t stay there again.
