Our family of 3 recently stayed at Carmana and we were really impressed. The staff were extremely accommodating and the room spacious and clean. The area is fantastic for families, with a grocery store, eatery and starbucks directly opposite. The area is clean and felt very safe walking around with our 4 year old.

We lived the hotel. Our room was so nice, clean and very spacious. We had three adults and it was very roomy. Had our own kitchen, patio & balcony. It was centrally located and near so many good food places. Also a small grocery across the street.

I don't get why this hotel is 3-star. It deserves so much better than that. I went to many cities for a business trip and I confirm this hotel is better than most 4-stared ones. Room: so clean, SPACIOUS, beautifully designed. I love this hotel room has so many light sources. I hate hotel with one or two lamps and make you fall asleep as soon as you enter the room. Staff: Helpful, polite, patient, professional! What could you ask more? The only my suggestion is that I seriously think you need to consider changing the shampoo and body wash. Shampoo smells like as if you're washing your hair with apple ice cream and body wash smells old lemon. However other than that, I did not find any single problem. My number one place if I visit this city again.

The room was bigger than expected and had a full kitchen. This would be an excellent place to stay for more than one night for the space and kitchen. View was great. The bed was not - very very hard bed with the crunchiest sheets I’ve ever had in a hotel. Staff was pleasant and helpful. Parking was confusing and expensive. They have a secured parking area within the parking garage. You have to park in the temporary hotel spots (which we missed) and check in, then move your car to the secure area with a gate. I think we could have parked in the regular garage area for $30 vs $38 but the hotel staff was saying we would get a ticket? I think maybe she was saying we would get a ticket if we didn’t pay? It was confusing. We ended up paying the $38 which did have in and out privileges. Area felt safe and walkable with tons of shops and restaurants. Overall it’s a little expensive for having little to no amenities, super uncomfortable bed etc. but it was a good stay and don’t regret it.

Everything was great, only thing was the suite seemed a little worn... headboard on the bed had scrapes on the leather, office chair was worn, a few marks on the wallpaper. Minor issues, but thought I'd mention them based on the cost of the room.

Wonderful hotel in an amazing location.

My husband, Aunt and I stayed here for one night before we set sale on an Alaskan cruise. It was a great hotel located in a great area of Vancouver. And we loved the option of having separate rooms with our own bathroom.

Amazing boutique hotel & suites convenient within walking distance to everywhere in Downtown Vancouver. The 2-bedroom apartment is spacious, fully furnished, had full kitchen amenities and rooms were serviced daily. The apartment we stayed in may need a bit of refurbishment or refresh as it’s getting dated. Would have been good if the apartment came with in-room washer and dryer (rather than the coin-operated laundry which was available). Staff are very helpful too.

Very new and clean hotel/service apartment with full kitchen and cozy settings. Facing downtown Vancouver in panoramic view with full privacy. Worth the price for a hotel situated in YVR downtown core.

Clean and spacious, everything was working properly the heater was a little loud. Very nice views from my room on the 22nd suite floor. The fire alarm went off at midnight which probably pissed some people off but I had just got back from a late night sushi restaurant. Luckily restaurants are open pretty late downtown and there’s a 24 hour subway all on the same block. Staff was a little stand off ish I dunno what that’s about. Lots of good shopping spots and I got gated parking for $35

The fire alarm went off at Midnight and everyone had to go down the exit stairs to outside. We were on the 16th floor! False alarm, no apology from the hotel staff! No offer of any kind of comp! Which they totally should have done! We didn't get any rest that night! I'm sure no one did.
