this hotel was awesome - the staff were great...the maid service was excellent...the rooms were well appointed...the only negatives were: the parking was a pain, the laundry room a rip off and the wifi was slow, but other than that, all was great

The hotel is beautiful and very clean. We only stayed one night (before our cruise) and the large suite with kitchen was more than we needed, but it was very comfortable and we had a great stay. We walked a few blocks and had a great dinner at Earls on Robson St. Would definitely recommend staying at the Carmana.

Nice hotel, but not the best experience

The room was nice and comfortable. Great view of the surrounding building.s. Unfortunately we had been traveling 20 hours and didn’t realize the AC did not work. It was 78 degrees in the room which made for an uncomfortable night. The next day service tech showed up, and spent 2 hours trying to repair the unit so no privacy while he was there. He was unable to complete the repair but did give us two fans. and luckily the windows opened for some cooler air. For the price we paid it would have been nice if the manager could at least addressed the issue and apologized for the inconvenience

Our family of 3 recently stayed at Carmana and we were really impressed. The staff were extremely accommodating and the room spacious and clean. The area is fantastic for families, with a grocery store, eatery and starbucks directly opposite. The area is clean and felt very safe walking around with our 4 year old.
