I called the hotel because my credit card wasn’t working for the hotel check-in, and I asked if I could use my debit card or cash for the security deposit. The staff who said she was manager told me they don’t accept that and suggested I find another hotel. I understand there are policies, but the response felt a bit unhelpful and not very understanding. I would have appreciated a more polite or supportive approach in that situation. I was really stressed that day trying to sort things out with my bank and the hotel because my credit card wasn’t working. When I spoke with the manager, I didn’t feel the response was very polite or understanding. I understand hotel policies need to be followed, but I would suggest being a bit more polite and empathetic when explaining them, especially to guests who are already in a difficult situation.

This property would be best without kids and not for a long stay. The property/ rooms are a bit run down and could use some TLC. The staff were very friendly. Parking being off site is less than convenient but out of their control. I have a mould allergy and while we were in our room I was extremely asthmatic. Overall. I wouldn’t stay here again, but if you’re young and without kids it’d be fine.
