The shower head was great for people 5'3". Unless you shower at 6 a.m. hot water was a rarity. Kitchen was very outdated, but usable. Be warned police, fire and ambulance sirens are constant 24/7, no fault of the facility. Restaurant was excellent. Coffee shop fantastic. Staff attentive and friendly.

The elevators are so small and slow and with some of them not working it made everytime we waited for one it took so long. Then a lot of people would try to jam in to a tiny space. I also found the room to the door closed so slowly even if I pushed on it. As a single lady that didn’t seem safe to me. I think the room was fine but seemed expensive for what it was. The shampoo and body wash smelled great but was so hard to get out of the bottles cause they were so tough to squeeze. The shower had good pressure but I couldn’t adjust the height as a short person I kept having to take the head off. There was a little confusion that happened when the ladies I was with checked in so we waited 15ish minutes before being able to get our keys and go to our room. Overall it was fine but not exceptional.

Overall, I’d give a 4 as all things went well. The staff compensated for the condition of the property. For the premium room price the facilities were not that premium as the building shows wear and tear. The accommodation shown by the staff to make us comfortable was commendable and certainly raised our views. Also, location is quite central and easy to reach downtown shopping. Its about 3 blocks from the hustle and helps with lower traffic. Parking was adequate, located in the building and worked well. There is a hospital adjacent - it was not a problem most days except the night of a public holiday that had ambulances coming in often overnight. Overall I’m inclined to give it a 4 due to some of these negatives. Definitely would consider staying here again.

Perfect cityscape location!

We had a great stay here! Late check-in (after midnight) and the staff on duty were patient and kind. The room was as advertised and the cityscape views are spectacular. You're in the heart of the city and within 20 minute walk of so many restaurants and attractions. We feel like we got a great overview of Vancouver by taking the Aquabus over to Granville Island, the Hop On Hop Off Trolley Tour (thanks Dan & Chris!) and clocked over 5 miles each day just exploring the various areas on foot. Our last day we took the Harbor Cruise and really got a sense of the city from the water and saw Stanley Park from another angle. English Bay was magnificent and the sunset did not disappoint. This was our first visit to Vancouver and we will definitely visit again!

Booked a suite with bedroom and kitchen, was given a single room with table top coffee maker. Bathroom door did not shut and latch, as well as the entry door. Room service thought we were out because door had not latched and was open. Booked for 3, was only sticked for 2. Asked for more towels, found them sitting in a bag outside the room 2 doors down. Incredibly overpriced at $600/night. Stayed in a $200/night Holiday Inn following our second night that blew this dump out of the water.
