The Burrard is a very interesting, older hotel that has been well taken care of. We loved the staff, ease of check in / check out as well as the food options within as easy walking distance.

Location close to multiple public transportation options and restaurants. Towards hotel gets a little iffy but seemed safe. Hotel itself was clean, friendly. Portable A/C unit in room (not central air). Had a fridge which was nice. No views, rooms over a car park. Overall a good deal. Would be nice to have breakfast included in the price.

My room was clean & quiet, check-in was easy. I arrived at about 1am and there was someone at the desk. I didn't have a chance to use it but there is a nice little courtyard. This place is centrally located and you can walk less than 10 minutes to restaurants, shopping etc. This was less than a mile from the cruise terminal. I was able to talk a scenic walk down to the terminal, burrard St is a straight shot to the terminal. There are also buses available, and the Uber option was only $8.

The service was excellent, very friendly and helpful. The room was small and dated. There was an old hair tie by the wall between the bed and nite stand. The bottom sheet was not a fitted sheet, so it did wrinkle during the night. The dispenser in the shower was empty. There was no mat for the tub creating a very slippery floor. My husband did slip and fall.

The room was ok and the staff nice, however there is basically zero sound proofing from the outside or the floor above - you can hear everyone in the courtyard and vehicles blasting music. The room doors are basically exposed to the outside more like a motel. It really kinda felt like a renovated motel 6 with a fresh coat of paint and a lush courtyard. Not sure it’s worth the price unless you can’t find some place quieter/for a better rate.
