Staff was nice and welcoming. The only issue I had was that my room smelled like cigarette smoke. I called to ask if there are rooms where people can smoke and I was told that No! That most likely it’s the Ac/HVAC system. Being that I am sensitive to the smell, I was a little disappointed I had to deal with that unpleasant smell. Good thing I only spent a night.

I has to wait about 40 minutes for the shuttle. I tried to call the hotel several times but the phone went unanswered. My wake-up call was 10 munutes delayed. Otherwise all was okay.

This is close to the airport which is nice. However, I found my room noisy in that I could hear some sort of drill running at 10 at night, and I could hear the neighbour’s shower and music the next morning. The carpets in my room had lint etc, showing they hadn’t been been vacuumed thoroughly, and one of the waste baskets had not been emptied. On the plus side: The bed was comfy, bathroom was clean, the shower looked brand new and was in excellent shape, the shuttle was on time and convenient. The price was fairly good for Vancouver, so I wouldn't necessarily be scared away from this hotel, but hopefully they read this review and do a better job of vacuuming. Bring earplugs if you are a light sleeper.

Beds were nice. Rooms even in the executive wing were basic. Restaurant was filthy but staff were friendly. Elevator was broken and rooms smelled musty. Seriously though, clean the floors in the restaurant.
