The hotel is seemingly clean. Location is decent. We were messaged before our arrival about if we wanted a diffuser in our room upon arrival. I responded and said yes we would love that. When we got there and checked in, they asked again. Well, said diffuser never showed up. When we got to our room it was fine - except the tongs for the ice bucket weren’t cleaned and had brown sticky goop on them. We then ordered Uber Eats and added that arrival should be to the lobby with a call to us for pick up. Uber left it with the front desk who claimed they tried to call us - there was no call (in either the room or on our cells). Then we asked if we could get a slightly later checkout (which they said absolutely, no problem) and when we got back to pack up and go, our key card didn’t work. They hadn’t extended it. Then after check out, the only way to get back to the parkade is with a key card, but you no longer have a key card after check out. It took us attempting several times and looking lost and having to go back and forth asking 2 people (with the front desk) before the person standing at the elevator (who saw us confused) told us he had to use his key card to buzz us down. Not great communication. They had a Dyson hair dryer in the room with attachments, but one of the attachments didn’t connect to it at all. Odd. The bath tub has an extending hose which I suppose is there to be used but couldn’t get the water to come from it at all. Tried all the tabs and twist buttons.
