We stayed for 1 week, July 16-23 2024. The hotel is very nice. Nice Victorian style housing. The kitchen is a bit dated but it is functional. Breakfast is good, would have like to see a bit more variety with the eggs. At least some days an omelette,rather than scrambled everyday. Also maybe some cheese added to the menu. I liked the background music,good nostalgic. Overall we had a enjoyable stay here and if we do come back will certainly stay again.

It was great. The flight of stairs to get to the 1st floor were a surprise. The guy at the front dest was awesome. Got us a microwave to use during our stay. I think his name was Paul.

A little gem
A little gem of a hotel in the Inner Harbour area of Victoria. Has a charming garden area next to a Victorian Teahouse, and right across from the Blackball Ferry Terminal. The rooms are spacious and has the most comfortable beds. It is an older hotel, so unfortunately there were plumbing noise from other rooms. The bathroom is small and the bathtub needed reglazing as there were many chips on it. This hotel provides a complimentary hot breakfast, and it was good. Very few hotels in Victoria offers complimentary hot breakfast, so this was a bonus. The hotel is located in an excellent location for walking in the city and around Beacon Hill Park and the waterfront on Dallas Road. If you cycle this is the place to be as there are bike lanes everywhere in the city. Overall, I would recommend this hotel if you want something comfortable, clean and in a excellent location.

We stayed in the newer lofts located at the property. Check in was easy, staff was very kind, room was extremely clean and true to the photos displayed. Parking is located below the property in a secure, hotel access card only parking lot. The area is walkable to nearby attractions and food. The breakfast was very good as well. Definitely recommend staying here.

The property was very clean & quaint with lots of character. Bike rentals, spa, tea shop were all on site. the front desk also serves as concierge and we booked whale watching tour through the front desk with Eagle Wing Tours - which i strongly recommend to continue selecting. Eagle Wings was 1st class and very impressive. We received a whale guarantee even though we saw a humpback - so we went a 2nd time the following day and saw orcas and a playful humpback. Really impressed with their crew - so thanks to Huntingdon for selecting these guys. Also - breakfast was amazing, well stocked and fresh. enjoyed the resting in the patio amongst the gardens and greenery.

This was a lovely property. You could tell the building was old, so it had charm, but the guest rooms have been upgraded to feel appropriately modern. Breakfast was included which included hot and cold options. The staff were consistently very friendly and helpful. This property is great because on the grounds are the tea house (we had afternoon tea and loved it- so charming), a place to rent bikes (which we did) and a spa. We were taking the ferry after our stay so it was the perfect location. We arrived to see the parliament building lit up for the evening, which was lovely and very close by. Great location!

We booked this property for its convenience. We arrived early and were told that our room was not ready. However, we watched as other groups of people who showed up much later were checked in first. When we asked the front desk associate, the male associate was very dismissive. We were not checked in until 4pm. The room was decent; the breakfast menu was sub par. Hotel is very closed to the ferry and downtown Victoria.

It is close to everything. The bike rentals were nice. The breakfast was very basic and in a small area.
