The staff were nice but the area around the hotel was quite sketchy. A lot of homeless people doing drugs right on the sidewalk. Definitely would not walk around at night. As for the room, the bedsheets were clean but the beds quite hard. The bathroom was dirty, the tub was stained and the back of the door looked like there might have been a blood drip on it, didn’t look like it had been cleaned in a while. None of us used the tub. The nice part was that they did supply hand sanitizer spray! Which we used a lot lol Would I stay here again? No.

Where is the IRON?
I would rather the staff to check the room at the time of check out so the deposit is returned. The room had no iron and when I asked, the front desk told me it take 20 minutes to bring it to my room (first floor right at the frond of the front desk). I went out without ironing my cloth.

Price a little high for this somewhat sub average hotel located in a poorer part of Victoria. Noisy due to adjacent major construction activities. Cleanliness left a little to be desired (bathroom floor sticky, space underneath the vanity noticeably dirty). On the plus side, close to downtown & excellent bus service making access to region easy and cheap (1 day bus pass $5).

It was a clean bed, the bathroom lacked wash cloths and hand towels and upon arrival, cleaners had left cleaning spray in the room. There was construction next door that started at 7 am and the wall outlets were not accessible and they had power strips under tables and such. Just not impressed. But it was a clean bed.

I honestly can’t say I’ve stayed anywhere like this honestly. Upon checking in, I literally sat and searched for a different hotel in the area to stay. Where to start? “Secured” parking left unlocked until the evening, despite a very high level of vagrancy in the area. Door to the room itself barely closed, with a large gap at the bottom. Door could easily be pushed open without key card. A/C unit in the room with vents literally caked in dust, no air flow obviously. Half the light bulbs in the room burnt out, various unidentified stains throughout the room on the floor, walls and ceiling. Large rat traps behind the vending machine . Stay elsewhere unless you’re desperate
