We've stayed here twice and it's now our favorite option in Victoria. Great coffee/wine bar with robust snack options (don't miss the extra seating in the back). Friendly staff. Parkside Hotel & Spa is one of our two favorites! We are a growing family and we love staycations. I have searched and compared several Victoria suites and picking Parkside Hotel is one of my best decisions. We enjoyed the pool. Our little one loved the koi pond. Everything is walking distance and we were able to explore without worries about parking. Our beds are comfortable and at the end of the day we are able to enjoy hot baths. Oh, the Tyneham toiletries are such a plus! Super awesome place! Staff are super friendly and attended to all our requests. Will definitely come back here on our next Victoria getaway!

There was some garbage in the closet and under a side table when we arrived. We were there for 5 days and only asked for housekeeping once. They never vacuumed or stocked up the toilet paper. Not a huge deal, but domething to consider.

Didn’t want to leave

What a great place to stay! From the moment we checked in to the moment we left (reluctantly) the Parkside nailed it. The nicest, most helpful staff work there. You need something? It’s delivered quickly. From the bicycles to borrow in the koi fish pond lobby to the in-room washer dryer, everything has been well thought out. While we didn’t use the pool or gym, the facilities appeared to be well appointed and well run. Street noise at night? Run the Dyson room fan. Chilled? Turn on the fireplace(s). Great, safe neighborhood with on site, easy in/easy out parking. We stayed in the one bedroom king and found the layout, fabrics and furniture to be very comfortable. Stay an extra night? They’ll bring you new room keys. Want spa amenities, they have those, too. We didn’t try the independently run on-site restaurant as there were other places we wanted to try within a short walk. Looking forward to returning one day.
