The $30 charge for valet parking was excessive, being forced to use their service instead of parking your own car is not a good business practice. Other hotels in Greater Victoria will let you self-park for a much lower fee, especially with the high cost of staying overnight.

Very walkable hotel location with clean rooms. My husband and I loved staying on the 12th floor with an incredible view too. Only downside was valet-only parking of $30/day tax. Would stay here again!

Second time staying here last one was 5 years ago if your looking for a pool or hot tub nope not here bad parts onto on the 550 per night ( expected ) was surprised to have to day $32 per day to park the car ( last time it was included) I felt like it was chiseling . when I talk to the front count I got from the young guy “ Oh Well Times change “ second issue is there is a new tower 12 stories right next door being built with god awful banging and equipment noise starting at 7 AM . I am aware that’s not their fault but again when asked to move we got a plain out “ Nope “ … customer service is lacking

It's definitely a place we'd return to.
Our stay at DoubleTree was excellent. The valet parking was efficient and always timely. The room was spotless, with towels and bedding sparkling white. I really appreciated the layout of the King Suite, especially the small countertop, which gave us flexibility with our meals. The bar downstairs is fantastic and definitely worth visiting. Although there was construction on one side of the hotel, and our window faced it, this actually worked out well for us. We woke up at 7 AM and had plenty of time to explore Victoria. It's definitely a place we'd return to.

Stay at hotal for 3 days, and I requested to clean the room but didn’t change bed sheets at all. The coffee maker was dirty!
