We questioned the size of the Queen bed as it seemed more like a double. But they told us no it was a queen and that was that. Although the sheets only went to the edge of the top of the bed so they didn't cover us very well and the bed sagged in the middle so it was uncomfortable for two people. We didn't both to complain again as they seemed disinterested when we talked to them initially. I have stayed at the Royal Scot in the past without issue but I'm not sure if I will stay there again.

The Royle Scott hotel is the only place we stay while in Victoria. Great location rooms are clean and nice furnishings. Prices are lower than most places and we are not in our room except to sleep. So many wonderful things to see in Victoria.

A wonderful older hotel, full of character, with great amenities. The rooms are spacious and clean and the staff are friendly and helpful. A great central location, walking distance to the Inner Harbour, downtown and the Legislature.

Room was clean. Could use a carpet upgrade. Toilet would run every 20-30 min ( like it was refilling tank, flush control valve needs replacing) . You have to pay to park in their own parking lot $20 + tax !! If they would regulate toilets that are costing them excess money, we wouldn’t have to pay to park. It’s the only place we have ever had to pay for parking in Victoria

The staff was absolutely wonderful and accommodating! The location is prime. so close to great landmarks like the legislature, Government street and many others. Very walkable, and convenient for day and night activities. The room was spacey, and very well equipped (Room with kitchen). The hallways were very quiet and most importantly, the room was clean and tidy upon arrival (bathroom included). Would most definitely recommend and stay for any future travels to Victoria.
