The rooms are a little dated as this is an older hotel, but it was nice, clean, and comfortable. I quite enjoyed the bagpiper who played to welcome a tour bus that arrived. The staff were kind and helpful. I would stay here again. The location was nice.

I would not hesitate to recommend this property. Very clean, very efficient and helpful staff. the attached restaurant was a bonus. Eric and the cortados kept us coming back. Breakfasts were amazing. 5 star all around!

The hot tub was perfect. My wife and I would have liked to have a common sauna. In the meantime, a sign on the door would help identify its location. On the first evening, I thought this particular door looked more like the door of a storeroom than the sauna entrance. It seems that the sauna was also difficult for the women to locate, as 2 ladies asked me where it was. I directed them back to their change room.

Staff were friendly. It is clean but of course it is an older infrastructure so expect some a lot of wear and tear. We nasically just slept there so can’t really tell that much. They have game room, music room pool and sauna. The hottub and pool was darker than i expected so we decided not to try them. Bit of you are looking a place just to sleep this is a good place.

Beautiful hotel

We loved our suite. Having an area to sit and visit was appreciated. Also, we took full advantage of the kitchen facilities. The pool/hot tub and games room are wonderful. The only drawback was the pull-out couch. We were 4 people, so 2 got the wonderful bed and 2 had to sleep on the pull-out couch. We wouldn't have minded except the pull-out was extremely uncomfortable. Worn out with bad springs. Needs replacing.

A lovely hotel, although centrally located it is on a very peaceful and quite street, The hotel is walking distance to downtown Victoria with countless restaurants and sites to explore. We didn't use the vehicle at all while in downtown Victoria as everything we wanted to see was within 1/2 hr distance.

We had a great stay at the Royal Scot this weekend. The hotel was clean and comfortable. The apartment was a good size and well stocked. The evening staf was friendly and greeted us when we arrived back late in the evening. It felt safe and is very conveniently located. Definitely will stay again.
