Best shower I have ever experienced and the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in for a hotel. Great location for walking. Staff was very courteous. Was nice and quiet contributing to a restful sleep.

Hotel was average at best. The good: location, general cleanliness, staff were nice. The bad: Had a suite, carpet, curtains dated, drywall needed work. Bathtub drain didn't seal, bathroom sink drain plug wouldn't open. Overall, unpleasent for the price, I've stayed in other Sandman's that were more updated and inviting. Also arriving late night, had trouble locating entrance as there is no marquee or anything to show entrance. Taxi driver was confused too, eventually found a dropoff point but signage should be better.

I really liked the large pool for my family's one-night stay in Vancouver while having an appointment at Children's Hospital. Having Moxie's standard of good food right downstairs and room service on proper plates with Cutlery and real glassware with a City View out the window after a long day of travel was a real treat.
