We booked this hotel last minute as our travel plans changed. We got the junior suite and it was great! Also staff at the front desh were very helpful and accomadating. We got to the hotel earlier than check in and they got our room ready within 20 minutes. We also asked for a late check and they gave us an extra hour which was all we needed! Definitely recommend amd would stay there again.

One big miss but overall, still a good stay

I enjoyed my stay at the Executive Hotel. The room was spacious, modern, and well-appointed. We checked in late on a hot day, and I appreciated that the portable A/C unit in the living room was already running. However, only one of the two bedrooms had its own A/C unit. The other room stayed uncomfortably warm throughout the night. We considered opening a window, but the street noise made that difficult for sleeping. This was the only real downside to our stay. Otherwise, the staff was friendly, and the location was excellent.

The hotel's interior and exterior are both very dated. Although some remodeling work was completed, it was barely a facelift. The exhaust vent in the junior suite with one queen and one sofa bed was detached from the ceiling. The junior suite with two double beds & one sofa bed is marketed as having two bedrooms and two bathrooms, but only has one functional bathroom. The front desk staff were not helpful during our stay. We also found dog food on the top panel of the terminal air conditioner. However, the location is excellent and the parking is secure and convenient.

I was just a little disappointed because you can hear the sound of A/C and its aligned to the head board. Also the coffee cup is a little smaller to the normal cup. When you make coffee the water overflows. But it was nice, huge and clean room. Also the staff is kind and accomodating. Thank you.

We paid $800 plus tax for one night. We were attending a wedding. All the hotels upped their rates to take advantage of an AA conference in downtown Vancouver (50,000) in attendance. All the hotels were full. So maybe if we paid the regular nightly rate I’d feel better about the place. They did not provide robes. No luxury. Room was larger and bed was a king.

Location was convenient for the airport however property itself was not great and I didn’t feel comfortable or safe throughout my stay. Room very tired/dated. Fire alarm went off at 1am and there was no contact at all from any employees even while we were all standing in the street. Nobody checked if everyone was present. Nobody confirmed if/when it was safe to return to the building. Completely disorganised and unsafe.

We stayed in the Executive Tower. The kitchen and living rooms are basic, bare and uncomfortable. It was like going back to 1970. The beds were comfortable. This property is in dire need of a refresh.
