Someone had left the A/C on real gold and the room was icy. Took awhile for it to warm ups. Not the hotels fault. Great front counter staff and a decent breakfast.

The room was good. I arrived late and checked in during the evening due to flight issues. The airport shuttle was late because the driver was on a lunch break, and I was surprised to find out that the front desk staff member was also the driver. I ended up waiting for 50 minutes. The driver was also checking his phone while driving. I noticed that nearby hotel shuttles had already returned to the airport multiple times during my wait—they were much faster. Since I checked in late I asked for late check out, thankful for allowing to stay until 12Noon but not enough rest so i ask til 1pm and have to pay $12 for it. The breakfast was not good. It was just bread, bagels, and pancakes, with very few choices, which is disappointing considering they are aligned with major names in the hotel industry

Staff were courteous. Room is clean but part of the carpet is wet. Bed, bedding and towels are sumptuous. Little Dove bar of soap was super cute. I appreciate the hair conditioner too. Not all hotels supply that. Fridge is huge! We asked for a quiet room and so far it is very quiet.

Confused there was a $250 damage deposit for each room (2- rooms $500) that has already come through on my credit card.. at most damage deposits are typically less and pre-authorizations not charges.. I have stayed frequently in the area lately as we are often in Richmond for medical appointments and this is very unusual (never had this before) definitely disappointed wouldn’t choose to stay here again and not happy that Expedia is listing this establishment..
