Great place to stay. Enjoyed gordon ramsey restaurant. Steak was perfect. My friend said her sablefish was the best ever! Casino fun. Only comment is outdoor patio seating with the cushions very uncomfortable! Sit in higher chairs. Pool area nice but no bathrobes in standard rooms. I had to go back to room with my clothes over wet bathing suit. Plan accordingly there are change rooms. Ill be back

Some of the rooms are in need of some general maintenance. For example, the paint was peeling from the ceiling in the shower, and the hot water faucet in the sink continued to drip after being turned off. Otherwise everything was fine.

Air conditioner did not work, We requested a fan or someone to fix was never responded to. Hidden resort fees, if I had known we would be charge way more than original price we would have stayed elsewhere. $90 parking ticket for parking in the resort owned parking garage that was a 5 min walk from where our room was, very inconvenient parking. On the last night we could not turn the thermostat below 22c like it had been locked to that temperature. The towels have a strong urine smell as well even the new replaced ones.

We complained about our room being hot at 11pm said they would fix they never did. Front desk wasn’t helpful in the morning at all. If I didn’t have a fan while I was travelling I wouldn’t have gotten any sleep at all. I don’t complain about things but this hotel stay was terrible.

This is a great hotel to stay at when coming from the island - it's an easy bus ride from the ferry to the hotel directly, and from there after dropping our things off it's an easy train into Vancouver. We'll be back!
