Very dirty room upon arrival
The hotel room smelled like cigarettes, dirty clothes under the couch from previous guests. Dirty pantyhose under the desk from previous guest.. not sure our room was even cleaned before our 2 week stay. I asked for some type of compensation and the manager didn’t help us at all or send anyone to clean our room. They did not offer to switch rooms with to something cleaner. The pool was swamp green and stunk bad. Trash lined the halls during our entire stay.

I’m not sure where the 4/5 star reviews are coming from . The TownPlace Suites by Marriott 1784 on Tribute Road is not a place I would ever return to or recommend. It’s understaffed, smells like a smokers hotel, they don’t communicate clearly and what they have advertised on Expedia is false advertisement. They are undergoing construction; failed to let us know that the TVs would not work an entire day and that they were turning off the hot water from 10 am - 6 pm . And our key cards stopped working at 10 am the day we had check out at 11 am . The pool is green; not sure if they have just given up on it. Find a different place there are many options in the area .

It was lack luster for a Marriott .. I wanted to stay another night but the hotel didn’t have the stay another night desire . Not the Marriotts I’m use to .
