Wonderful Stay

The hotel was wonderful for the budget my friend and I had. Everything was very comfortable and the atmosphere was very nice. Bed was comfortable and enjoyed talking with the kind staff as well. Would stay here again!

Hotel was pretty and staff was nice, but we had the following issues: 1. No shower water pressure (have video but I’m unable to upload) 2. Elevator safety permit expired by 3 years 3. AC was not working. Set at 64° and room was consistently hot at 75-77°. Staff brought us 2 fans.

Upon check~in, the guy working check in desk tried to charge me for taxes on the room. He then told me parking was $47. I reminded him that the room was paid in full, and told him the Expedia confirmation number. I also reminded him that their website said parking was $41 dollars. I also show him the website. He said $47 included taxes and the website was incorrect. The room door wouldn’t open and one of the two elevators was out of service. I will not be staying here again.

This was a business trip. When I arrived I was told there was no water. I had to go to another hotel. I pre paid for Moxy. I’m still waiting on the reimbursement.

Big wet spot on the bed! They kindly cleaned it up. We were told to “then just go to another hotel” when we were concerned that the water was being turned off all day for repairs. They gave us a wheelchair accessible room. Not asked for. Only FIVE INCHES between the bed and the wall. The other side was designed for the wheelchair. If you are handicapped then travel ALONE to this hotel. Shower knob fell off. Paint flaking off soap holder. Window blinds would not open due to broken controls. No one came to fix it. Nothing covering the cold hard cement floor. I assume it’s for wheelchairs but is really unfriendly for others. “City view” was a joke. No restaurant. But it looked like a fun bar for people under 40. And I wouldn’t call it “downtown”. More like downtown adjacent. They shouldn’t just try to be cool with the really cheap decor.
