Several of the listed amenities were not available. The studio apartments lack a dishwasher and laundry services even within the building. The room's condition was heavily worn and unclean particularly the bathtub/shower. Also very limited front desk help. Do yourself a favor and stay at the Melbourne Apt Hotel on Elgin. We used their laundry services and they're very close to the trams. Many eateries nearby too.

The apartment smelt awful, like urine. Old dirty frayed carpet, horrible old couches and generally unclean. Flithy around washing machine and skirting boards. Never again.

Run down but clean.

The rooms were quite run down. There were multiple holes in the carpet and the toilet seat had a weird texture like the paint layer was cracking. The water temperature in the shower was inconsistent, and would flutuate even when the knob wasn't touched. The kitchen was poorly stocked - 1 knife, 2 forks, 2 teaspoons and no big spoons. There was some plates etc. It was generally clean and the bed was reasonable. Hotel was quiet and in a nice area. The hotel was quick to respond to emails and had a good late check in process.

Room was comfortable and quiet as it faced east, away from Lygon Street. There was a an unpleasant smell in the lifts and corridors. No exhaust fan in the bathroom. Hot water could take 15 minutes to come on.

The location of the property was excellent, in amongst terrific eateries in Lygon Street and surrounding streets. The bed in the apartment was comfortable and clean. The receptionist that greeted me upon arrival was very polite and helpful. She is an asset to the business. The property in general was fair, very old and dated in many areas. It needs a significant attention. The room I was in was appalling. There was a large hole in the carpet (approximately 6inches square), the couch was marked in various places, the window in the main room was filthy, as was one of the blinds, the bathroom floor was filthy (I washed it before I used the shower/bath), there was significant dust on all skirting boards throughout the apartment indicating the property hadn't been property cleaned in ages, the walls were marked throughout (and I cleaned several marks off myself and which proved that it is basically just poor housekeeping/upkeep by management), the bathroom tiles were in dire state and there had obviously been a terrible leak at some point in the apartment as the skirting boards were badly warped and marked (through water damage). The property's location is really the only thing going for it. Whilst the nightly rate is of course lower than other properties in the city/nearby, however a lowered rate should not result in a dirty property - and which is what I encountered. I would not return. Thank you.

I loved how close it was to Lygon street and how safe it is to walk around this area at night. The guy at the front desk was so lovely and helpful also. Besdies being a little dated...Bed was really comfy. The smart TV actually worked easily and the apartment was clean.
