The down side was everything that was extra was expensive. Parking fees were through the roof!! Overnight was $55 per. Insane when there’s othered with a flat daily rate of at least half, and the parking not on site!!

Hotel is very dated and old. Beds, couches, all furniture is old and needs replacing. Great central location. Be careful the hotel will try and charge you for extras that you did not have!!

There is nowhere better for a quite, luxurious holiday "nook" when in Melbourne, the hotel is close to everything, the staff could not be more helpful or polite, and finishing the day with a lovely spa bath was great..missed having the free to air channels on tv but everything else was wonderful

Got upgraded to a suite - classic room with good desk set up for work and bedroom with sliding doors for extra privacy. was very comfortable and an easy location in walking distance to free intercity public transport by tram and shopping on Collin’s street as well as excellent dining options (walked a few blocks to Phillippe’s and Chin Chin).

I had booked and paid for a room with a spa bath. There was no bath at all. Staff not interested in addressing the issue. Large hole in the tiles on the bathroom floor right in front of the basin. The air conditioner was so loud I couldn't sleep. Very tired and dated decor in need of updating.
