The unassuming entry of the hotel belies the great apartment with plenty of space, huge spa, kitchen cooking facilities, unexpected second bathroom and a laundry! Really friendly and helpful staff, close to secure parking, the theatre and Bourke street mall for shopping. Trams outside the door for super easy access to everything. Highly recommend, will definitely stay here again when we visit Melbourne ⭐️

Dated property that is in need of an update. Staff were helpful and accommodating. Noisey at night/early morning. Windows not double glazed and sounds travels up. Aside from that is in a good location. Tram stop right outside the front door and Taxi rank a few meters up the road.

The only positive about this apartment was its location. Carpet was filthy, lounge has us itching (mites ?), the spa did not work and getting in and out of the bath over a 50cm ledge was a definite OHS issue. Stove did not work, fridge rattled all night and bed covers had stains. Three sachets of coffee to last 5 nights (luckily 711 just up the road for great coffee). Yes it was on the cheaper side but we should still get the facilities that are advertised in working order. No netflix an very outdated tv.

Carpet was in squares and were coming off the floor, wrinkles all through the carpet, sprinklers were missing plaster around them, one shower head was duct taped together, the other showers soap tray had been broken off and had sharp edges, fan in the bathroom didnt work, rooms werent as advertised on website, no parking and nearest parking was still a 5 minute walk away, smoking apparently is allowed on the balcony but there is only one floor with said balcony so if youre a smoker, you have to go all the way down and out the front of the building and the end of the check in time is not 7pm, the details for certain things on the Wotif site do not correspond with the actual site and they make it very difficult to find stuff (its all hidden in the PDF on the website). Not worth the $800 for two nights. Spend the extra $200 and just go to Crown or something.

Had stayed at this property before and it served our needs well so when we arrived the second time we were expecting more or less the same standard. Unfortunately we ended up with significantly less than the same standard. Hotel room was dingy and hot, the air conditioning didn't work (during a heatwave!!) but they'd generously provided 3 floor fans to blow hot air around the apartment. Carpet made your feet black if you walked around barefoot and the bathroom extractor fan didn't work. Single sofa was old and had cigarette burns. Concierge was nowhere to be found, I think we saw them twice during our 10 day stay. Shampoo and soap provided was watery so we had to go out and buy our own as housekeeping was as absent as the concierge so didn't provide much in terms of top ups or fresh towels. Utterly disappointing, coming back to the hotel at the end of the day was the worst part of the day. Happy to be going home.
