Very close to tram stop and city

Pros: Convenience to public transport and very comfortable
Very pleased overall with our stay. Only had to ask reception once for extra washing powder and tea bags which had been forgotten, but that wasn't life threatening!

Lovely new apartments

Pros: Friendly staff and new apartments.
Location: Close to Sea Life, Crown Casino, to the tram stop.
We loved our stay at Punthill Northbank. The staff were super friendly and very helpful. We were able to get a one bedroom apartment on a higher level which was great. It's nice and quiet, with great city skyline views, and bed and pillows were very comfortable. It's situated right outside the Spencer St tram stop so made it a breeze to come and go into the city. Highly recommended!

Apartment was 15 months old, staff were wonderful

Pros: Staff and management friendliness and assistance.
Cons: Difficult to say. I originally stayed in Double room before sharing oither apartment with my sisters - and my double room was wonderful.
Location: Great Location
As with 'new' apartments there were teething problems, (mainly design, taps not letting you access sinks, blind wind ups so high you had to be 182 cms tall to wind them up or down). But staff were wonderful, helpful, all problems responded to immediately. It would be interesting to know who designed the layout - I have to suppose they are not 'australian' or 'female' or the usual 'users' of kitchens, raising or lowering blinds, or cleaning of teeth, or washing faces over bathroom sinks. thank good ness for the wonderful management and staff.

New premises, close to South Bank. Wotif makes you say more than you want in these reviews... interesting that they don't take the time simply to compile joint reviews of smaller submissions rather than frustrate those who actually take the time to complete their spam!

Boutique oasis next to the Yarra

Pros: Convenient location
Cons: Couldn't work the aircon. Couldn't turn it on or find instructions. Had to open the window which increased the noise a bit.
It was lovely to arrive and find that although we were in the hive of activity, it was nothing but peace and quiet once the doors closed. Even better was the gorgeous view of the skyline and river at night from the 28th floor.
