I was advised that my room had to be changed last minute and I was put in a larger room. The room was very dirty with visible dirt on walls, skirting boards and doors. The room was not at all sound proof and did not have block out curtains on any windows. The main room windows only had semi-sheer blinds that could be seen through. All noises from outside could be heard and if I had not had my sleep eyemask I would not have been able to sleep due to the bright lights coming in through the window straight onto the bed. Overall, the dirtiness of the room and the noise and light made ot a not pleasant stay.

The apartment was clean and tidy and sufficient for our 3 night stay. It had everything we needed and more. The location is very central and walkable throughout the CBD. There are also tram stops nearby within the free zone. Check in after hours instructions were clear and easy to follow. We could also leave our luggage after check out to do more exploring. Unfortunately the wifi was terrible. It was very slow (speed test was showing up to 2Mbps download speed) and basically unresponsive. It could be due to the location of our room and that we weren’t getting any signal. I did mention this to the front desk but they weren’t able to help. Luckily we had a large mobile data plan so we just used that instead.

The pillows and blankets didn’t smell fresh. The bed was soft, and overall the aircon made the room colder not warmer. However, the overall room was spacious, and had all the basic amenities required for a comfortable stay. I really liked that it had a constant flow of hot water and internal access to washing machine and dryer.

nice.

upgraded to a beautiful room with high ceiling. looked like a scene out of big brother tv series. spent most of my time in the bathroom. seriously good , tho. im a big fan of punthill brand and veriu , apparently , normally out of my budget. this was a free night aprox. 2 years in the making. GREAT

Stayed in a room on the east side of the building. A new development on this side of the hotel means our room was very dark. Maybe the hotel should make that very clear when making a booking. Also, the air conditioning wasn’t very effective. The room was a little too warm but there was nothing we could do about it.

A well located hotel if you are doing football, concerts etc around the MCG precinct. 1 bedroom rooms provided great extra living space and all necessary amenities. Room did not have any great views and was noisy as next to a construction site but this was communicated as part of the booking process so no surprises. No construction at night so still plenty of quiet time. Bathroom was a bit dated but some rooms have been renovated. Overall a comfortable hotel in a good location and Zach Brown Band was fantastic.

The first night was impossible to sleep — the building was so noisy from the strong wind (felt like a cyclone!), and I’m usually a deep sleeper. Luckily, the next night was calm and I slept well. Great location and very affordable, but cleaning needs improvement as we found leftover food in the fridge. Friendly staff fixed it quickly. Bring earplugs if you’re a light sleeper!

I had everything I needed and more, thank you! Close to Parliament and Flinders St stations and every larger shop within 5-10 minute walking distance. The apartment exceeded expectations and the washer and dryer came in handy. I would have loved to cook but no need with everything available so close by. One thing that would be even better is a larger TV, 32” is too small for the room. Staff were super attentive and great communication, thank you for a very pleasant stay.
