The room was ok but the bed mattress needed replacing. We were not provided the deluxe room we booked and instead had a tiny king room - this seemed due to it being very busy and the tower we booked only seemed to be filled on the weekend so we were in the tower over the casino. The room was clean, but only gets another clean if you ask - or they just show up though it is only supposed to be by request. It was dusty enough I was able to draw on my night table. We were there 10 nights and the room was cleaned twice. Once they didn't make the bed right and the topper was all bunched and hard to fix and we had to get someone to come the next day to come help fix it. The shower doesn't have a door so you don't really get warm. The beautiful pool area is only open at certain times of the year which is too bad since you are charged 70$ CAD a day "resort fee". I was conflicted as this hotel should only have 3.5 stars. I only went to 4 due to comparing the hotel to others we've stayed in near this location.

room is very basic. i appreciate the free coffee and water. but the bed is not comfortable. the ac is almost impossible to control so i turned it off.. you are able to listen to the neighbors.. it is an ok stay. staff is friendly.

The room and staff were great! The coffee bar had excellent coffee and staff. After they close at noon there is nowhere within the hotel to eat. The location was quiet. Walking or jogging outside the hotel was not possible due to the number of homeless people in the area.

Two stays:July, 2025. We were put in the Gallery Tower. We got to the room we could hear the TV on as if it was occupied. The key did not work. We went all the way back to the desk. They gave us another room on a different floor. When we got inside, the room was made for small people. The bed was literally 12 inches from the floor. My husband is 6' 7". Very difficult to get in and out of. The safe was on a shelf barely above the floor. Had to sit on the floor to use it. We unpacked anyway and decided to try it. The next morning we showered with no water pressure and no hot water. We went back to the desk and asked for a different room. They moved us to a suite at the end of the hall. The room was bigger but the bed and safe were all still the same. We just stayed there anyway. We were tired of moving and packing. We had two reservations because we added 5 days to our stay. The front desk said we did not have to check out and check back in. On the fifth day of our stay, we went to the pool and when we came back, the room key didn't work. We asked a maid to let us in. She called security and we waited in the hall all wet from swimming. It took probably 45 minutes or longer for them to come let us in. The front desk had not switched our second reservation to the new room so it locked us out. 2nd stay in October-no water pressure, no hot water, smelled like sewer. They tried to fix it but didn't. No heat in the room. Just stayed anyway. Had already unpacked

Room wasn’t even close to what the pictures showed. Not sure if they even put us in the suite we paid for or just a normal room. Valet was great and quick. Little coffee bar was great . The restaurant was ok . Overall staff and service was excellent but room was a let down.

Room was great and a deal for the price paid. The casino is pretty dead for a Friday and Saturday night and then restaurant inside is only open for breakfast and lunch. I also didn’t like the open showers.

Staff and amenities. Check wasn’t has friendly as in the past. No complimentary waters were given like before. Freedom Beat changed their menu and was not that great.
