Starting with the positives! This property is in a great location a short stroll from the centre of Burleigh. It also offers spectacular ocean views. Sadly, that is where the good news ended for us. The property itself leaves a lot to be desired. It could do with a deep clean at the very least. Vertical blinds in the bathroom and kitchen are in total disrepair.. While it doesn't claim to have air-con, we didn't notice this, taking it as a given for Gold Coast rentals, so that one's on us and this is just a heads-up for others. Neither are there ceiling fans, which would have offered a little more comfort on a hot day - just one rusted pedestal fan in the living area and one small and extremely noisy portable fan in the bedroom. The windows in the living area, which also service the main bedroom, don't have flyscreens so impossible to have open at night due to bugs and the security risk being only one floor up from the ground. We would also question the safety of these should guests have small children. Unfortunately the location and views weren't enough to overcome the discomfort of the apartment and we elected to forfeit the second night of our booking for a better option.

Great Location in dated unit

Loved the location. Noisy & busy street on Saturday afternoon. Unit very dated in need of reno. Very old & dated furniture. Windows difficult to open & close. One window was open when we arrived. Could not close. Seemed to be locked open. Main bed moves & creeks when you rollover. Agent kept sending confusing text messages about which office to go to at the start & to drop off keys. Would’ve been good to have some basic supplies like lifelong milk, salt & pepper.
