Room was a 5/10. There was noticeable markings and scuffs on wall with some areas it was peeling. The shower is NOT accessible for individuals who can’t get out on their own. No hold bars …just a slippery tub to get out after a shower and hoping to God you don’t fall. The rain shower head was also very weak. Biggest complaint was the price. The resort fees are crazy! We needed something small brought up to the room (not food related) and they were going to charge us 7.00 to bring it up. After all those resort fees, you would think it would be free! Area wise it’s okay and close to Fremont. The noise level was okay but some nights we could hear from the street. The pool area was very busy around 12pm and there is a third floor pool which is adults only BUT you have to pay for the sun chair if you want to sit up there! Again…isn’t this the reason for resort fees?!? The best thing was the Saltgrass steakhouse in the hotel. Stay overall is a 5/10.

I am, and have always been, a fan of the Golden Nugget. That being said, this trip left me wanting. I usually stay in the Rush tower, but this time opted for the cheaper Carson tower. The rooms are definitely showing their age. The beds were not very comfortable, and the shower was a mess. Loose water fixtures and a tub that didn't drain well. The hotel and casino however are great. Plenty of dining options for whatever time of day you're looking to eat. I can't speak to shopping selections because I don't go to Vegas to shop. The hotel pool is great! For individuals, couples or families there is something for everyone. Outdoor Blackjack, the bar, the giant aquarium with sharks and the water slide make for a great time for all. To summarize, I will definitely be staying a The Nugget again in the future, just in the Rush or Gold towers.

No running water! Bathtub is disgusting

Bathtub was in horrible condition. I tried taking a shower and there was no running water out of the tub faucet. I turned the knob and tried to pull out and no water. I called the front desk and said they would send an engineer. It was pointless since I was getting ready to check out. They took $50 off my bill and that’s it. Need a full refund for the room since it was in horrible shape.
