Breakfast was actually from The Basket Brothers, which is right next door, actually part of the same building as Veriu Central. You can order online and they’ll bring you the food. And it was good. I will say this: Australians need to learn how to turn the toaster down.

A nice little hotel, rooms small but still decent, but very poor housekeeping which left me feeling very disappointed and would only recommend staying if it was for one or two nights. Out of a 9 night stay, I felt like I only had 1 day that housekeeping did an acceptable job. And the lift/foyer area really needs a good clean, every surface was very dirty and wasn’t touched the whole time I was there.

On check in TV found not to be working. Staff being unable to fix the problem moved me to s different room, with no view and little natural daylight. Rooms very small, even for one person.
