Our visit was fine, but a few issues
There seems to be industrial action/protest going on outside this hotel as well as others in Santa Monica, so there was a lot of very loud noise outside in the mornings. Not sure how temporary this will be. Our room was not ready on time and staff did not really handle it in the most customer-service-friendly manner. However, the actual room was clean and the beds comfortable. The bathroom had a nice large counter top which was helpful for a family stay. The pool was out of service one day we were there but seemed to be up and running the next day. Bike rental was a nice perk and they also had helmets, locks etc which was helpful. Overall we had a fine stay but I would not rush to stay at this particular hotel again as there are other options in a similar price point in the area.

We found Le Meridien at the last minute. How lucky we were. Great location, terrific staff, wonderful facility. And a good restaurant. We loved our stay there and highly recommend Le Meridien Delfina to all.

Great Location
My original room was right above the driveway of the hotel. I am a light sleeper so I asked them to change my room which they did. There was a $33 amenities charge per day for amenities that I did not use. I realize that most hotels are doing this right now but I do not agree with it. The room was comfortable, not the most luxurious, but fine. Housekeeping came every day which was good because since COVID some places do not offer that anymore. The bar was in the lobby which was good on rainy nights, we didn’t have to go out. Overall I enjoyed my stay because of the great location, near the beach and lots of good restaurants. I would recommend the hotel to family and friends and I would stay there again.

I am not sure if it is our bad luck or what but during our whole stay we woke up on the sound of protestors in the whole front doors upsetting about something related to this hotel and it is clear the sound isolation in not good in the hotel because their sound is loud and clear in our room :(

This trip staff were supporting the LA hotel workers strike from 7:30am to 9:30am and very loud drum banging and chanting and marching in lobby. Very noisy at breakfast - however I support their right to protest - wish the hotel would hurry up and settle as the poor staff have been doing this since middle last year!

Worst stay ever…
I would expect a higher standard on a hotel that cost this much. The rooms had an old feeling to them. It felt dirty. And to top it off some employees and their union started a strike and demonstration outside the hotel at 6am. With vuvuzelas and drums only to wake everyone at the hotel.

Pretty good
I am super picky about cleanliness and was happy with how clean the beds and bedsheets were. Front desk staff were amazing and friendly. Hotel feels a little dated and carpets were dirty and need replacing, but overall those are things that aren’t as important, just an observation. I would stay here again.
