Terrible experience. Won’t be back. The property is clearly 25 years old. Room was hot. Pool waiters were great, but the swim up bar had the WORST bartenders. Terrible attitude towards everyone. Told us “No” on making drinks if it took more than 1 or 2 ingredients. If you plan to hang out at all in the evening later than 8 PM, don’t stay here. Pool bar closes at 6 PM. Pools close at 8 PM. Restaurants were absolute trash. Oregano, the Italian restaurant was the ONLY decent experience. Magna, which is limited to Excellence Club, is NOT worth it. Service was mediocre and their “famous” tomahawk steak was a 3.5/10 at best. Seasons Transfers was amazing though. Both ways. Super clean Suburban and very professional driver. Highly recommend them. The transfers and our trip to Isla for the day was the ONLY thing I would recommend.

Let's start off with saying I'm budgeting this resort into my expenses every year. The staff was so amicable it felt like I've been coming here for years and they've grown to know me. The food menu and drinks were crafted delicately that every night felt like a fancy dinner. Book your transportation through them from the airport as well and you won't have to worry about schedules. Everything was a 5/5 and I'll be coming back next year.

First time I visited this resort was 12 years ago and it was in much better shape. It needs things fixed / updated. Food, staff and services are excellent but definitely needs updating. Also stayed at sister property next door the beloved ( newer ) the excellence has a slight more fun/ activities but really needs an overhaul.

The staff is friendly, the place is clean, and the food is good. My only complaint is that at some restaurants, the wait for food can be up to an hour. Also, if you’re not an Excellence Club member, your room is farther from the beach. It’s walkable, but it can feel a bit far going back and forth.

Property is a well oiled machine. It’s beautifully maintained, the service is terrific and everyone is happy. The only thing I would say that could use a slight improvement is the quality of the food. It was good, not great.

Excellent service Terrific staff especially Fernanda at the Excellence Club Desk who helped us upgrade our room and Sully who was our Pool Concierge Beautiful room Delicious meals
