The restaurant is very poor and food is not at all up to Auckland standards but absolutely Auxkland prices. Meals were soaked in oil, not well seasoned and presentation was very average. Let the experience down overall and has now not lived up to expectations on two occasions in terms of dining. Suggest urgently need to change their chef and staff and look at a menu they can deliver / execute to a high standard or go very simple and align pricing to a more gastro pub fare and menu.

They have done up the rooms - fantastic. Not sure that the restaurant lives up to the rest of the experience. That's a real shame really as it's a beautiful place.

Our Rimu Chalet had everything we needed and was very nice and comfy. Enjoyed our drinks in the Lounge in front of the fire too. Thank you so much.
