Absolutely lovely cottage with a woodburner and spa bath, close to William Ricketts sanctuary. The kitchen is well equipped, and the wifi reception is good. We really enjoyed our stay.

Tudor Cottages

Other than a few minor points, this was a relaxing stay at Tudor Cottages. Fireplace is a wood heater (not open as the images suggest), and Evora Cottage shares a common wall with the adjoining Elan cottage.

Thank you for your feedback. In reply, the Elan and Evora Cottages share a common wall, however during renovations this wall was fitted with the highest grade soundproofing available and double doors with internal insulation are fitted. The original stone fireplace has been fitted with a wood fire heater to provide greater heat and less smoke than a traditional open fireplace. This makes enjoying a wood fire easier for even the most novice of fire-lighters. We are so glad that you had a relaxing stay and we look forward to having you stay with us again.

Nice area - scenic

Pros: Position
Cons: Improvements - driveway, garden, bed pillows, bathroom grouting, kitchen supplies, breakfast supplies lacking, lounge needs replacing
Location: Location good, visit Miss Maples' tea rooms in Sassafras excellent. Interesting shops in Sassafras and Olinda
Driveway is terrible, access dangerous on bend, need to take extreme care with entry, easy to damage underside of vehicle, property needs a little TLC.

Location: 3 local hotels, cafes and lots of quirky shops
Cosy little cottage, suited our needs perfectly. Would definitely stay again.

Cute little dandenongs getaway!

We recently stayed 2 nights in this gorgeous private cottage. Beautiful surrounds, close to Olinda & all its amenities. Arrived after dark to the owners having put the heater on for us which was lovely. We enjoyed our stay in Etna Cottage immensely. The gas conara heater & spa bath were highlights. Bed super comfy and the scebery around the cottage stunning. Driveway tricky to enter, but correspondence from the owners prior to our stay was beneficial with warning around the dangers of turning into it. Thank you so much for a wonderful couple of days away. We would highly recommend this property and will be returning ourselves :)

A cold stay

There were no staff at the hotel, and the keys were at the room. It was cold out side during our stay and the heater didn't work.

A nice Cottage.

Cons: Having better frypan.
Location: It was perfect as there were a lot of thing to do near the cottage.
At some stage we needed a torch and there wasn't any.

Mountain retreat

Pros: It was clean and well equipped, bed was comfortable, setting very pleasant, private. We liked the spa and the spacious bath room.
Cons: The kitchen furniture lacks character. DVD's available to watch were unsuitable for those wanting PG rating.
Location: Olinda is lovely and it is not too far from Mt Dandenong lookout. Easy walk to Pig & Whistle for a meal.
We had a nice time staying at this little cottage. It was clean and comfortable and once we got the heaters going, it was also warm. The spacious spa bath was a treat. It is an easy walk to the Pig & Whistle, which we recommend for a meal.
