Management was rude. They completely overcharged us for an upgrade and refused to explain how the charge was calculated or refund our money. property in disrepair. I would never stay here again.

Even though it had a kitchen there was no oven or a big pot to boil pasta so we couldn't cook which was the whole reason we chose City Edge. The unit needs a good clean including all walls and cupboard doors and bathroom tiles. Carpets and the couch need a shampoo and floors need a good mop.

We booked a room for three people expecting the lounge sofa to convert to a single bed as it had been previously. However this time the double bed was in the lounge room and two single beds in the bedroom which was not the most staisfactory for us. The air conditioner had broken down and a noisy portable air conditioner was in the main room as a replacement. This was not ideal and the broken air conditioner was not fixed in the week we were there. The wash basin in the bathroom was blocked when we arrived and we had to notify the reception of this to get it unblocked. This should have been reported by the cleaners and rectified before we arrived. The shower head in the bath did not stay up in the position required and kept falling down. The button for the buzzer at the front door to get entry was missing altogether so we could not use it to get entry. Again this should have been repaired, but to overcome this we were given a second key for our stay but only after we had complained to reception.

Please accept our sincerest apology that our room did not meet your expectation. It is likely that you booked for our Albert Family Apartment which has a queen bed in the living room and two single beds in the bedroom, which is clearly shown on the pictires. Please let us know what exactly you need next time so we would be able to meet your requests. In terms of the aircon, we were very sorry that the original aircon is out of order and the portable aircon is the best we can do at the time. Again, we are sorry for any inconveniences. We will get the aircon fixed and all the other ones checked to make sure things like this would not happen again. We have emphasized the maintenance issues with out housekeepers and revised the standard housekeeping procedure to make sure every conor is properly cleaned and all the maintenance issue will be fixed before guest arrivaling. I hope you can forgive this inconvenience and not let it stop you from staying with us in the future. Warm Regards

In terms of the cutlery you mentioned, we have checked everyroom to make sure the right amount of cutlery in everyroom. Some of our rooms don't have dinning chairs as the space is not big enough and we could only set up tub chairs in the room. Please let us know if you need proper dinning chairs and we would arrange this for you. I hope you can forgive this inconvenience and not let it stop you from staying with us in the future.

We stayed in the Gipps St. units.Very disappointing as they were not like the internet photos portrayed, The place was very much in need of refurbishment with drab décor and old furniture.The sofa in particular was very shabby and a bit smelly. There was no air con or even a ceiling fan in the bedroom and the bed was so close to the cupboard on one side that it was not possible to open the door ! We had a ground floor unit with cars right next to the bedroom window and a dismal outlook.

Beds were clean and comfy, kitchen had a wierd smell, apartment smelled damp, aircon barely worked and there was no instructions how to use it and it was very old. Bathroom had mould growing on the window sill and tiles. Overall would never stay there again.
