Beds were clean and comfy, kitchen had a wierd smell, apartment smelled damp, aircon barely worked and there was no instructions how to use it and it was very old. Bathroom had mould growing on the window sill and tiles. Overall would never stay there again.

Looks much nicer in the pictures. Very old on the inside. Definitely needs an update. Toilet door was chipping away at the bottom. Had a funny smell in the room. Good for the price though I guess.

Inside apartment was fine, kitchen light not working and toilet running only issues. Getting to apartment difficult, it is separate location from reception and apartment access around back of building and up 4 flights of tiny stairs.

2 bedroom apartment in Gipps Street

Pros: Free carparking was great, and the Gipps Street building was in a great, quiet location.
We stayed in a 2 bedroom apartment in the Gipps Street building. It was in a very quiet location compared to the other 2 apartment buildings. It was great to have carparking, and the apartment was fine for a quick weekend away with the kids. It was a handy location to the MCG. The beds were ok, but there was no mattress protector, and it would have been good if there were a couple more spare blankets, as it was very cold.

The apartment looked like it hadn't been cleaned

Pros: Proximity to the MCG
Cons: Clean the apartments properly, upgraded furniture, new pillows does not make a new bed, the lounge was unusable and had unclean upholstery
Location: We attended the football location to MCG was fantastic, caught up with family and friends at nearby shopping centres and restaurants
excellent location for MCG however for the price I would not stay there again. There was no parking spots available, so I had to park illegally (in an apartment block parking allocation) tried to move the car later in the night with no luck, spent the whole night wondering if I would get a fine. The furniture was very old and felt unclean (the lounge /sofa bed was not comfortable to sit on so glad we didn't have to use it to sleep. Had to move furniture around to see the TV which was positioned low in a corner, luckily we did not want to watch much. The fridge was old and broken, old dried milk (I assume) was spilt on the kitchen floor and hadn't been cleaned up. I had to wash all the cutlery and crockery before we could use it as it as some of it appeared dirty. No plug for the kitchen sink. Bedside lamps in the second room did not work (we found out later they were not plugged in as the could not reach the power point in the room. No heating in the 2nd bedroom except old oil radiators (i didn't even know you could still buy these) which we had to leave plugged in all night so the girls didn't freeze, not ideal to say the least
