The property is very tired. Cleanliness was fairly good but the smell of the cleaning product used was overwhelmingly sickly. Had to throw all the windows open to air it out. Appointments were disappointing. Only two of everything (bowls, plates, utensils). Location was great although a bit noisy at night at street level, particularly as the window was open to get rid of the strong smell of cleaning product. The bathroom and kitchen seem to have been renovated (although why the kitchen splashback wasn't done at the same time is beyond me. A lick of paint throughout would make a world of difference to the overall appearance. Bed was very comfortable and plenty of pillows and blankets. The couch was as comfortable as a park bench, but the blankets softened it up a bit. TV kept glitching out. It was convenient digs for two days but wouldn't go back in a hurry for the price.

There was hair in the shower and the beds were filthy with hair in the beds. It was incredibly bad. The owners were going to get back to me about it after our visit but have never heard from them. Would NEVER stay here.

Didn’t feel safe to be walking around outside at night but overall a very nice experience. Very clean and great size and ammenities for the price. Walking distance to nearby hospital which was our main attraction.

The size of the apartment was bigger then i thought, but limited wall plugs maybe one in kitchen and lounge. The mirror and shower screen werent clean, the shower leaked and no exhaust fan. The couches were that hard u couldnt to on them to long, and the queen was also hard, no mattress protector and sheets didnt fit

We booked a 2 bedroom apartment in Gipps St and were given a room that smelt of cigarettes. We advised receprion who sent house keeping who then sprayed chemicals that then caused an asthma attack in one of our group. We were told we were sensitive and that they couldnt conteol smoking of people outside. But they should be able to control the cleanliness inside their rooms. The smoke smell is also all inside the staircases and inside the rooms - with housekeeping even saying while cleaning the first room they think that the cigarette smell was on the tables and focused on cleaning that to try and rid the smell. The smell after even an hojr was still there too so it didn't work. We were then offered other rooms which had the same smell throughout. We ended up being offered a room that was thankfully clear of smoke smell but was a one bedroom family room which was less than what we booked for. Have reached out to get the difference in room refunded but have not heard anything. Note when booking that only one of the buildings under this City Edge has accessibility, the other two do not. Just an overall terrible experience with low quality rooms. Still waiting on refund of difference in rooms and very unhappy.

The beds were old box spring and creaking and could feel the springs when laying down. The couches were not comfortable to sit on and the dining table is too big for that space and unpractical. The noise from the neighbours was loud and we had to knock on their door to ask them to quiet down at 11:30pm! The bathroom was nicely renovated compared to the rest of the unit. A new couch and new mattresses would help greatly. The unit is in a good location to the city and parking was convenient. The manager was easy to get in touch with and made check in easy.
