Clean room. A bit outdated inside. The housekeeping did the bare minimum but didn't refresh the coffee and the lotion until I asked the front desk.

Dinner was excellent, so was dessert. Breakfast also! There was some confusion at checkout-the desk didn’t get the slips from the restaurant or something. We had paid for breakfast included on our room reservation. It was adjusted immediately and with no problem but did require us to ‘work it out’ rather than quick checkout. The single sink vanity is so small and tight with the dbl closet doors behind is our biggest complaint. Also no magnify makeup mirror. The coffee pots should all be updated to keurig types.

The room had little furniture and provided only one stand for luggage. Rooms almost always have two guests, that means at least two bags. There was limited counter space, no dresser with drawers and a puny table that could not hold a piece of luggage. The bathroom was also without any shelving for clothes or other items when showering. The toilet sat in a corner with only the toilet paper holder nearby. A grab bar should be near to assist people when they sit and when they rise. Now there is nothing to help a person balance properly. The room had a small frig but no microwave, and the coffee choice was really bad, actually awful.

Fantastic location, very clean and walkable to the shops and nearby dining. Well kept property that had a nice bar/breakfast area for slightly over-priced but decent options. For a longer stay, it was disappointing to not have any dressers/drawers to put our clothes away.

We were greeted with a smile and kindness with all the information we needed about the pool, dining, etc. I was pleasantly surprised at the cleanliness and modern feel of our King Suite and connecting room. We were also able to reach the parking lot from our floor without having to go downstairs and outside. Parking is an etra $35.00 but totally worth it, especially if you've forgotten something in your car and need to go get it. Thanks for the hospitality at the Pasadena Old Town Courtyard Marriott!

We thought we would have a breakfast buffet each day, and we did for the first two days. Then on the third day, we were told that the buffet is no more. Instead, we could order off a menu. We complained and asked if we could cancel the breakfast for the last three days of our stay. However, we were told that since we paid for breakfast in advance through hotels.com, we could not cancel and get a refund or even a partial refund, despite the decrease in service. The staff did not even seem to think there was anything improper in this. One worker said we could stop by later and he would give us free coffee, but we are not big coffee drinkers. Anyway, we had to order off the menu, and then the kitchen made a mistake in my order, plus it took 25 minutes to get the order, even with few customers present. There were also minor service problems on subsequent days. A buffet is much nicer as it allows customers to select what they want and eat at their own pace, finishing in only a few minutes if they choose. We were staying six nights, so the hotel gave us a room on the top floor, the 6th, with a nice view of St. Andrew’s Church and the mountains. However, one of the two windows was filthy. We just kept the curtain closed so we didn’t have to look at it. Regarding the TV, we could not get the ABC channel to work.
