staff very friendly! however- not sure “privilege” is worth the upgrade. We could not get into the steak house- and for the alcohol- did not see much of an upgrade for that. If you want to sit on the special beach- you need to get there early to reserve a spot with your stuff. When it is at capacity- not sure how they can accommodate everyone in the “privilege “ area. But it is a beautiful property!

They did not have our room available and we were forced to upgrade and pay an additional 1300$. Our mini bar was not fulfilled on several days and had to repeatedly call the operator and at times it was not replenished. It took 1 hour to get chicken fingers at the privilege pool and they did not give us the correct order. Our TV stopped working 2x while we were there and had to call a maintenance person. Should I go on? Our Butler gave us the wrong start time for a show and we missed iur reservations because of it.

My family of four stayed for 4 days and 3 nights over Christmas to celebrate my mother’s birthday. We booked two rooms, which happened to be connected upon arrival. Unfortunately, the shower in one of the rooms was not working. I reported the issue that evening to the butler and then the front desk. Maintenance came to inspect the shower but left without any update. After following up later that night, I was told the issue couldn’t be fixed and was offered a room change. I requested that both rooms be switched so our family could stay together, but was told this required supervisor approval the next day. The following morning, we were assured the room change was confirmed and were asked to pack and wait in the lounge. After over an hour packing and another 45 minutes waiting, the supervisor insisted on inspecting the room herself and then told us we could stay and that maintenance would try to fix the shower after all. This showed a serious lack of communication and wasted our first night and half of the next day. Compensation was offered in the form of spa services, but the next available appointment was after our departure. This experience fell far below any 5-star standard. Poor communication and inefficiency made this stay extremely frustrating. I strongly recommend avoiding this hotel.

Food, drink, beach was great. Most the staff was great. Had issues in our room with the bathroom. The ceiling and walls were leaking toilet water from above us. Reported the issue at 7am did not get another room until 7pm. Had to repeat and complain multiple times to multiple employees at the front desk. The manager on duty Jennifer did not resolve anything and kept putting us off. Another employee had me waiting in the lobby for Jennifer for over an hour 1/2 and neither showed back up. I had to complain to another manager who finally got us another room. Guess Jennifer’s shift ended and she didn’t care enough to fix the issue she knew about since her shift started at 8am or 9am. Ridiculous to tell us they had to get a room cleaned before they could check us in but they were steadily checking in other guest. Sucks I had to spend most of one day on vacation try to resolve this. Witness several people also complaining about plumbing issues from water leaking out of light fixtures to toilet dismounting off the wall with water leaks. The jets in our tub did not work either.

Unfortunately, the negatives outweighed the positives. The biggest issue was the misleading room description. We booked a Junior Suite with sea view but were given a room facing the back of the building with a view of another resort. When we complained, staff claimed that as long as we could slightly see the ocean from the balcony, it qualified as a sea-view room—which is misleading and unacceptable. We also experienced ongoing power and AC issues. The circuit breaker kept tripping, and the room phone didn’t work without power, forcing us to walk to the front desk multiple times. The first night, no technician showed up and we slept without power or AC. The second night, after insisting again, they finally sent someone and fixed the issue, but the situation was extremely frustrating. Food quality and access were disappointing. Two restaurants required reservations, yet there was no availability for our entire stay—even from day one. Staff refused to make any exceptions. The remaining restaurants had long lines, with wait times up to an hour. One night, we couldn’t get dinner anywhere and had to rely on room service. The club sandwich we received was tasteless, with very dry meat. Guests who booked through Expedia receive a different-colored wristband, and the staff clearly treats them as inferior, which was very noticeable. The spa experience was also a letdown. We paid $280 for an 80-minute massage. Mine was fine, but my wife’s deep tissue massage was poorly done. The manage

Brand new beautiful resort, beautiful room, amenities, gym and restaurants, especially Privilege restaurant and pool, staff is super attentive and kind.Ceviche at seafood place is bomb, coffee shop and French place are yummy too. Make sure u make reservations with the butler for all days of your stay right the way after check in , or you will wait a long time to get anywhere.Overall very relaxing, enjoyable experience, thank you guys

Enjoyable stay for our family of 5 during the “soft launch” of the resorts. The resort staff was amazing, friendly and helpful at all times. We enjoyed the pools and beach, as well as the bowling alley and pickle ball court. The food was generally good with some exceptional menu items - pork shank and ribeye being highlights at 2 of the restaurants - whereas the frozen cocktails were mediocre and the juice bar disappointing. The ice cream parlor and coffee place were great, again with very friendly staff. The resort will only get better as feedback comes in and adjustments will be made. Overall we recommend it and would gladly visit again.

Things I loved of my stay! - beach, sand, service on beach - Privilege upgrade totally worth it, for balcony jacuzzi, rooftop pool and bar, and privilege restaurant breakfast - Rooms are huge, comfy beds, nice view from balcony, shower and loved the scent of the toiletries, very moisturizing, great attention to details in room setup and design - Layout convenient - Coffee shop and sweet shop consistently amazing - Pools are big and gorgeous - Many things to do - Hydrotherapy in the spa - And my absolutely favorite thing was the staff and people there, just great human beings and professional - Very quick room service Areas with room for improvement are the food and beverage department. Things like more options for natural juices in bar and restaurants, quality and consistency of food across restaurants as well. Was served very raw salmon on one occasion, raw shrimp on another and overcooked tough steak. Room service is limited and serving is on disposable trays which takes away from the luxury of the hotel. If food and drinks improved ooh wow this place would be top of the top especially for food lovers. To be fair place fairly new when I went just being open about two weeks. There’s a lot to love but food is huge component for me and why I retracted a star. I hope as they continue to grow this department too cause I’d love to go back one day.

This resort was absolutely amazing from start to finish. The food was great, the views were stunning, and everything was spotless and well maintained. What truly made the experience unforgettable was the staff — everyone was so welcoming and genuinely helpful. Our concierge Victory was the best and went above and beyond to make sure our stay was perfect. Axel and Julio were also incredible and made us feel so well taken care of. I can’t recommend this place enough and can’t wait to return!
