My boyfriend and I stayed here for 4 nights and had a good experience overall. We booked an Excellence Club Ocean View room. The staffs were very nice and friendly. We ran into a few problems while we were here, we were told that our mini fridge/mini bar will be refill every day. We got no refill on the first day and ended up calling the front desk late afternoon the second to ask for it. The worst problem we had happened on our second to last night here. Our AC had broken overnight; we woke up sweating and the floor was wet due to condensation. My boyfriend called the front desk early morning before we left for our tour at 6am. They said they'll send someone out to look. We got back at 2pm, and the room was still hot. Called again and were told to give it an hour to cool since they fixed it this morning. An hour passed and still HOT. They said they'll stop by again; we told them we're leaving for lunch and be back in an hour or 2. Came back from lunch 2 hours later, STILL HOT. It is now 5pm in the afternoon, we had to call again and this time we were able to meet a maintenance guy and really made sure he fixed it. On one of our nights there, we decided to visit AGAVE. We came around 9pm and saw someone leaving on a stretcher. Our greeter was not the nicest, but we understood. We patiently waited to be sat. We saw 3 other couples checked in after us and they were all sat before us. We brought this up and were gaslit and told we would be next.

This resort was phenomenal! The staff went out of their way to assist you in everything! The most outstanding staff for us were Sergio, Anyi, Jesus, and Laura. They always made sure we had what we needed and were very helpful.

My stay here was amazing and everything I needed after working 70 hrs a week all the time . I enjoyed a nice and relax vacation with my fiancée and loved my stay here and stand by the excellence brand . What really surprised me is how pleasant the staff is considering I know how other all inclusive resorts can be. The employees seemed to really enjoy their job and were super polite. I wish we had more sunshine during our stay considering we visited at the end of June but I wouldn’t change a thing about my trip . Would absolutely stay here again food was great lots of different options , gym was state of the art , entertainment was cool , drinks were flowing , and so many activities throughoutthe day . AMAZING place and will definitely come back .

Beautiful ocean, mostly nice staff, very mediocre food and the added 400 dollars to upgrade to The Excellence Club is not worth it at all. My room phone was broken and took 30 hours to fix. My friends phone was broken, but got fixed in a few hours. Supposed premium liquor in your room for “ Excellence Club “, but my friend wanted gin in his room ( that’s all he drinks ) and they wouldn’t give him any. Women can literally be nearly naked at breakfast, but if a guy has a sleeveless gym shirt ( not muscle shirt ) I was sent to change. Restaurant’s stagger their seating, so even if you go at a normal time ( 7:40 for us ) they tell you it’s a 50 minute wait ( really 100 minutes) then when we sat down, they rushed us because “ the kitchen was closing “ Really too many examples of them just not caring or being service oriented. It’s expensive enough that you should just pick someplace else. My first and last time, and same for my friend.

lo unico que no me gusto es que los restaurantes incluyendo el que esta en la piscina tienen como reglamento ir vestido formalmente ,no camiseta ni chort ,si uno sale de la habitacion para una excurcion o lo que sea para desayunar o almorzar tiene que ir vestido y despues tener que regresar a la habitacion a cambiarte de ropa para ir donde vallas a ir ocea si tu vas para la piscina tienes que vestirte desayunar o almorzar y regresar a la habitacion a cambiarte de ropa otra vez los que tienen habitaciones lejjos como la mia tremendas caminatas nunca vi eso en otros hoteles

We loved out visit, room was spectacular and the staff took care of us as soon as we walked into the lobby. Loved it. The only thing that would have made things a little better would be to have a DJ or something similar play after the events each night to allow people to hang out a little later than 10:30pm.
