Stayed one night and its what the name says, budget. Its ok, I needed a bed an not much more. Convenient in location just off Queen Street, comes with the noise of the city CBD. No AC but has windows that open.

For a budget hotel, this was perfect – clean, comfortable, and in an excellent location within easy walking distance of downtown Auckland and the main transport hub. I didn’t expect the extras you get with pricier accommodation, but it had everything I needed. My only gripe was the TV, which had just three channels – not a big deal, but noticeable when you’re staying in at night.

You get what you pay for. For a simple overnight stay with no frills, clean and pleasant, it's all good. Shower/bathroom could be a bit better, but it's there and has what you need.

Cheap and cheerful more or less. The room is tiny but ok for a short stay. The cleaner was lovely; reception so so. The hotel is in a great position and it’s easy to get around the cbd. Don’t get excited by the tv reception. Three channels so it’s like the old days

Refrigerator in my room made a humming noise the entire night. Balcony door doesn't have a tight seal when closed. Staff is friendly and a joy to talk to. Checking in and out was easy and fast.

Definitely a budget property… thought an Ibis property would be significantly nicer. The room was very small, the shower was small… very small… and threadbare. So noisy outside I stuffed tissue in my ears. The evening desk guy was clearly interrupted by my presence but the daytime people were great. It was the last accommodation on my trip and it made me glad to leave.
