The hotel lobby looks amazing, but it smells super strong of Grandma's perfume. They have belhops that pretty much do nothing. We could not use a trolly to take our luggage from the car to the room, the trollys where locked up and our room was at the back of the property. The room was awful. It was so humid it was sticky and damp. The AC unit was on the floor which made the carpet moist. There was a fridge that sas more of a freezer and froze all of our items. There was no microwave in the room. One thing to mention is they do offer microwaves but you need to request them and its $15 to rent them for the duration of your stay or you can go to the hotel lobby to use their microwave, totally inconvenient. The coffee maker in the room has a 3 inch cord which didnt reach any of the outlets, so we have to plug it into the entertainment center. The water pressure was weak, it was more like a water mister than a shower. Some of the areas on the floor in our room where arched like the floorboards where warped and had a very loud creaking, we felt bad for the people below us They advertise breakfast at the Pizza Press but when we went in at 7:30a we were told we cant order till 11am. When checking out the hotel manager mention you need to reserve breakfast by 12am the night before. Which would have also been good to know about upon checkin in, along with the microwave rental. Parking is $29 a night. They advertise black out curtains, which where cut out to fit the AC unit.

Awful facility.

This review is for the facility only, the staff was 5 stars. We greatly appreciate everything they did to make our stay more comfortable. 1st room we had was dark and felt damp. Had a very off putting smell of mold. When laying in the bed you can feel a vibration. It was weird. We called service and were moved to another room. 2nd room was fine until it came time for showers. There was a leak from the handle of the shower and no hot water after running it for 30 mins. Called service to let them know. The water got warm enough to shower that night and maintenance to come fix it in the morning while we were out. Came back and leak was fixed but still no hot water. After a full day at Disneyland this was exhausting to deal with. While moving to another room we told the bellman about the lamp. It was a fire hazard. Every move or shaking of the floor made it go on/off. He commented and said that shouldn't even be plugged in and is a huge hazard! They relocated us again. 3rd room was fine. At this point we were done. Will not be staying here in the future. Upgrades were made to this hotel but serious issues have not been addressed. Shout out to Victoria at guest services and Charles the bellman who helped us relocate. Your customer service was top tier. We appreciate you for making our stay bearable.

Very clean and the staff is awesome!

This has become my new favorite hotel! The minute you walk into the lobby you are hit with a great fragrance that I need to discover so I can get it in my house too! Smells wonderful. There is an amazing retro bar and large seating area with retro 50's style furniture! It is so clean everywhere and the location to Disneyland and other places can't be beat! I have stayed at almost every hotel on that strip and this rivals the Disneyland hotel for cleanliness and staff friendliness. I love the mid century modern vibe too. Like stepping back in time to another era. After 4 stays at the hotel in the last 6 months, each stay was just as good as the last. The beds are very soft and comfortable. Everything is very clean in the room. I have walked in on the maids twice and seen them mopping floors and cleaning all tabletop counters. I have NEVER seen that at another hotel and I am so impressed! There is some cosmetic wear in the bathrooms due to the age of the hotel, but other than that it is perfect. The pool area is huge and well attended. Giant inflatables float around and look great. There are multiple gathering areas throughout the grounds that have fun activities like a giant chessboard in the grass, a hammock strip for lounging, a giant lamp and fountain gathering area, a workout room, a Pizza restaurant, gift shop and so much more. You can see and hear the fireworks at night too. The price is so affordable. Love it!

We have made this our #1 place to stay at when we go to Disneyland. It is a close walk, the grounds are well kept and the pool is ginormous. Highly recommended.
