Dirty, filthy, overpriced dump, stay away !

Total ripoff, prices surged almost 100 percent. Room dirty, all soap receptacles empty, room had a used toilet paper roll, floors so dirty, my white socks were black, the room heater wheel broken off, it was on its side. Microwave in lobby filthy another guest was repulsed and wouldn’t use it. The desk manager was advised of these issues and didn’t offer to fix our room issues. The only offer a free breakfast and after seeing the microwave filth, we declined. Station away from this badly run dump !

I didn’t do much research before booking this place, but it is exactly what it says - budget. It’s extremely small and it does not have air conditioning. If you attend this place during the summer, there can be potential for a hot sleep! If you are cruising, it’s perfect because it’s cheap and it’s just a quick stay. If you are actually visiting Southampton for more than one night, I would NOT recommend this place.

Budget by name, budget by nature

Heating/cooling system didn't work, they gave me a fan which was old, loud and had the power of a mouse breaking wind. Had to have the window open which was so noisy. The only redeeming feature is that it is 5mins from the train station. But I won't be back.

Room 318 very noisy

We had a room on the 3rd floor next to Macdonald's and their cooling system was on the roof, it was so noisy we didn't get any sleep and it was deafening if we opened the window to let fresh air in. The bed was comfortable but the pillows felt like bricks.
