Very nice and cosy environment. First and best resort I’ve been to
The house was bit dusty and floor was dirty when we arrived. Dishwasher had a bad smell. The pool was nice kids loved it. Had a lot of leaves in pool.
On occasions the service for breakfast was poor. More happier faces serving breakfast could be a focus. Overall very happy though. A fantastic break.
We arrived in the pouring rain, friendly welcome, the accommodation was cool, dry and clean on arrival. Everything you might forget was supplied for the first night (soap, washing powder, coffee, milk, etc). Dinner and drinks were great in the resturant. Rain didnt stop but that didn't stop us using ...
Close walk to beach, shops and bars. Management very helpful and caring.
An amazing place that is peaceful, clean and relaxing with very friendly and accomodating staff. Location is perfect with walking distance to the main street and beach.
Nice size appartment and my daughter and I loved there pool. It was quiet and only a short walk to the Main Street! But best of all we’re the managers! Welcoming, polite and very helpful when we were seeking guidance on information about tours and Port Douglas in general! Very happy and would recommend ...
Very clean and quiet location. Internet very intermittent. No lift and have to carry luggage up stairs. TV controller only worked intermittently. Reception open limited hours.
Room facilities were excellent and very good quality Great location could walk to everything, close to beach Great staff
The bib pool and spa area. Gym was quite small for the standard of this hotel.
Needs an update. Also no screens on Windows or sliding door so no airflow and if you leave them open gets lots of mozzies/flies
Close to shops. Noisy restaurant down stairs packing up every night. Someone using a blower vac at 7am every morning.
First of all the lady who manages the resort was wonderful very helpful and obliging and so friendly. Because of her we will come back. Great work guys. From Pam from Melbourne 👍😉
You’re the type of person who wants to be right in the middle of it all, but still have your own space. You want to be able to take care of everything yourself, but also get plenty of R&R. Port Douglas holiday houses have everything you could need in a place to stay, along with several things you probably never even thought you needed. Towels and linens? Check. Cooking utensils? Check. Dog treats for the pupper? Well, you might want to bring your own to your pet-friendly holiday house, just in case. (He’s a picky little prince anyway, right?) But otherwise you’re good to go. You might even find some games for the little ones, if you’re bringing the family along.
If you are bringing the kids, don’t let that dissuade you from looking for the finer things. Luxury is the name of the game in Port Douglas, and house accommodation is no different. Sure, it should feel like a home away from home—but more like a really fancy home, where you don’t have to worry about cleaning or mowing the lawn. Yes, it’s as great as it sounds.
