unfortunately very disappointing after I booked online through Wotif booking 2 twin beds and arriving 30 mins later after the booking to find it was only fir a queen bed.
Staff saying they had no twin bed rooms available when they had 3 rooms advertised as such on the wotif website.
Room was as described and no issues. Nicely modern. Good price for what you got. Cafe downstairs looked nice though we didn't eat there. Only issue was check in. Staff member was very flustered by our booking (one booking that included three rooms). She was abrupt and nearly rude to my mum when she tried to check in and the process was long and drawn out. Otherwise a great stay.
We got what we expected for the price. A simple room with a comfortable bed in a handy location. We also expected a bit of noise as the hotel is a pub too. Unfortunately our room had a glass door directly onto the outside terrace and our fellow guests stayed up talking and laughing loudly until after midnight. At 1pm there was loud piped rap music from the speakers outside in the terrace. As the pub was closed and we could hear furniture being moved around, we assumed this was from the cleaners. Not sure if the management are aware... We left fairly early which was just as well as the noise from the shared kitchen (microwave beeping and chatting) wouldn't have allowed a sleep-in. Overall, clean and comfortable but not a great nights sleep.
