Position was great, straight across from the Queen Victoria market and close to the tram. Room and shower was excellent. Cleaning staff were amazing and very attentive with our room. Pool and rooftop deck was a bonus. Would definitely stay again.

The staff are exceptional!!! The location cannot be beat! We had our choices for coffee every morning and loved the people watching. The Summer market was across the street and so so great! Another market is also across the street in the other direction. And then there are THOUSANDS of eateries in every direction. Access to the free tram just a block away. The hotel has every amenity right down to (free I believe) self serve laundry and free sparkling water. The hotel is not "fancy." It is comfortable and practical. I would recommend they change out the very dark carpet in the guest rooms, but it wasn't in bad condition, just dark and carpet is a major dirt holder in general. I would still stay here again and recommend it highly!!!

Couldn't be happier. Great location. Rooms clean and comfortable. Bed was excellent. Bathroom was perfect size with a spacious shower. No signs of wear and tear yet. Pool was perfect temperature and quiet. Full size fridge. Used to stay around the corner but this will be our go to now for nice weekends at the Vic market. Parking was also great. Clean and easy to access with charging stations for at least 4 cars from memory. Worth the $45 extra for the simplicity and ease of use.

Overall look and feel is nice.. Booked a carpark and no directions to get in prior so needed to pay for parking whilst I checked in. Then they incorrectly charged me and it took several calls on my behalf and almost a week to get a refund. Poor customer service. Room & pool area not cleaned properly. Bandaids and chewing gum in pool area. No towels available at pool area. Asked in morning for bathroom products to be filled up (first morning body wash and conditioner were empty) wasn’t done. No milk for coffee on second morning. I booked a stay and park package and was charged $80 on departure for parking. Queried this on departure and got attitude from lady on front desk. She later rang and said I had pre paid parking and she was looking at the wrong room number but that “I was right but she was also right” Great location and lovely facilities but let down by poor customer service and poor cleanliness. Based on our experience we wouldnt stay again.

Room was fine but as with many rooms it had little clothes storage or hanging space, which is a bit of an issue when you are touring with two full suitcases. The bathroom facilities were a bit odd with the wash basin situated outside of the bathroom. Having said that the hotel was clean and the staff excellent.
