Our experience was great! The staff was very friendly and service was excellent. All the facilities were very clean at all times. The bartenders were very good at listening to each guest’s drink requests and did their best to accommodate. They even served us the higher quality alcohol when we asked for it specifically. As for the resort itself, what we thought could have been better was to have restrooms closer to the evening hangout areas, such as the theater and the outdoor evening bars, as it is quite a walk. Since most guests had to use those restrooms in the evenings, there was quite often a waiting line.

The Riu Latino was SO beautiful during the holiday season with all the lights up and way better than what I was expecting. I only had some issues as I didn’t get a welcome drink, & in my room with outlets not working by the bed and not knowing how to use fan. Maintenance did come, as fan was on when I came back, but not quite sure they were able to fix outlet, so I used others in the room. Other than that, 8/10 experience! Room was nice and spacious with a good view on balcony. Staff is amazing and sweet! They made my birthday special with free bottles of wine. Food was good for an all inclusive. I enjoyed it. Plenty of things to do: pool, beach, waterslides, excursions on the beach, club, shopping center, Riu parties. Also, they had a gym and spa. I do wish the gym was a tad bit more spacious because a lot of people, like me, actually work out on vacation and it felt a bit crowded at times. I can’t wait to come back to Mexico because I will be staying here!! Enjoy all the lovely pictures from the resort! I LOVED IT.

Overall our stay was nice. Going in December I was skeptical about the weather but it was great. It took us 50 mins to get from the airport to this resort. The hotel was beautiful and clean. Our room was nice . What was different then other Riu I’ve been too: here’s a few things first was the food at the buffet was awful I rate it a 2. Drinks were ok . There no gourmet pastry,/coffee place here, which we enjoy with other Riu. This Riu is secluded so if you think of walking outside the premises there’s nothing out there. There a gift store on premises which is nice. There a nightclub here too , we just didn’t make it. Being out all day in the pool and beach is draining. We did go to the entertainment they had at nights which was nice. Staff was pleasant, overall the stay here was good.

Our stay at RIU Latino was great! Food could be better and instructions on how to get the lights to turn on could have better explained. Other than that, the staff was amazing!

Gorgeous resort but many issues with the room. We had one plug (the one between the beds) that didn’t work and a plugged sink upon arrival. We asked for more blankets when they came to work on the sink. They were forgotten. Sink wasn’t really fixed, but better. Took a day to get more blankets. We asked for drinks to be switched out in the mini fridge as we were told we could. We even left a note with tip of what we wanted them switched to and left the note with tip on the bed. They moved note and tip to the counter but didn’t replace the beverages or take tip. We even translated to Spanish. Many little things. Tried to exchange US money to Pesos for 3 days, at all times of the day and were told they had no money. The employee in the exchange center was pretty rude everytime we tried to make an exchange. This package came with transfer from hotel To airport and back. We accidentally booked 2 transfers unknowingly with the same company. They wouldn’t refund us and we waited at the airport to get to the hotel for over an hour. I’ve always been impressed with the Riu’s but not so much time time.

Excellent resort! The staff was lovely and super helpful. The food was decent. Some foods were great but other foods were very Americanize which I did not care for but it was good for others. I loved the mexican food. There was a wide variety to choose from. There were even vegetarian options for the mexican and non-mexican food which was also great. I would definitely be coming back. The entertainment was great for all ranges of adults. They had Kahoot, karaoke, live band and many more. For the younger crowd, they offered a free shuttle to an all inclusive parties at another RIU resort nearby. I went to the Pink Party and it was well orgnized, fun and pretty to look at. They face painted guests with prettt pink designs as well.
