"Comfortable bed, old, tired furnishings "
Had a lovely spacious room with a bed that was comfortable, but the floodlight over the car park kept us awake all night :(

"Long time guests at Craigieburn since 1960's"
We've stayed at Craigieburn since the 1960's. Always loved staying here, through all the changes. It's the first time we've stayed since Peppers took over. We enjoyed our stay. Staff great. Nothing was ever any bother. Room was comfortable but VERY poor lighting. Not sufficient lighting over dressing table, nor in the bathroom. NO drawers into which we could put clothes - we lived out of our suitcases. Need drawers or at least some shelves. Not sufficient space to put toiletries etc in the bathroom - need shelves or a vanity. Dining room service mostly good but slow at times - we cancelled sweets when our order had not been brought to us after a 1/2 hour wait. We cancelled the order. Breakfasts were magnificent. Food great and plentiful.

"A Highlands Escape"
I had thought when I booked the room that there was a bath in the bathroom, the first night there was just a shower, however when I spoke to reception they happily moved us to a new room with a deep spa bath which made my husband very happy. It was a good weekend for our wedding anniversary.
