Accommodation In Kiama

Kiama is a popular coastal resort with a rich and vibrant history. Stay in our Kiama accommodation and experience this delightful region for yourself. From its early beginnings as a Cedar getters camp, Kiama has developed into a thriving beachside destination with a number of attractions and activities on offer.

Kiama’s coastline is made up of sandy stretches of surf beach, rocky outcrops, and sheltered coves. Use your Kiama hotel as a base to explore everything the Kiama coast has to offer. Visit the rock pools that occupy either side of Kiama Harbour, cast a line into the harbour and try to catch your lunch. If you don’t have any luck, don’t worry, the harbour offers some excellent places to try the local seafood or just some take away fish and chips.

One of Kiama’s most famous attractions is the Kiama Blowhole, which the regions name is derived from. The Indigenous word Kiarama is believed to mean "where the sea makes a noise", and there is no better way to describe the blowhole. It is not to be missed during a stay in our Kiama hotels and can be viewed from special viewing platforms that have been purpose built on Blowhole Point.

While staying in our Kiama accommodation you will notice the beautiful historic buildings that surround you, including the Post Office, well known for its bright pink exterior, which takes pride of place on the main street of Kiama. This beachfront strip is lined with shops, cafés and restaurants many of which are housed in some of Kiama’s original buildings.
