It was lovely and quiet with great blockout curtains. The only thing that was warrant a gripe was the state of the dirty carpet but I understand the apartment are being renovated. It had everything we needed though and staff were very helpful when our Wotif booking hadn't showed up.

It was comfortable and I was given a free room upgrade. Hotel is undergoing renovations so communal areas are a bit worse for wear currently. The room I stayed in had carpet stains and marks on the walls as well as grime in between the shower tiles. Staff were super friendly.

I chose VR due to the free parking that was suggested and also that they catered a room each for the children. Neither of these were catered for and an extra charge was made to park the car and unavailable to park for the first 24hours which was disappointing. The hotel was under construction and painting. The paint fumes on our level were high and sanding dust everywhere over the hallway floors. I am dissatisfied and would like to be refunded our parking fee

Well priced for a central city hotel. There appears to be some long term residents in this hotel making it feel more like serviced apartments - significant cooking smells on the level I stayed on. The reception was not manned in the morning citing CoVid which is poor taste given other hotels I've stayed in that do man theirs. Value for money. Mid-Low end.

Great staff . We’re originally put in a smokers room which wasn’t very nice with a pregnant wife. Staffed moved us no problems for second night.

Was close to the city, and they happily swapped my room when I discovered that the freezer door was coming off the hinges. Overall a very pleasant stay, even in a lockdown.
